We've updated our abandons system to greatly reduce the chance of wrongful abandon sanctions when affected by connectivity issues

Longer-term, we're adjusting how signals like connection issues are shared between systems to pre-emptively limit unfair sanctions

➡️REDUCED DISCONNECTIONS
Earlier this week, we made changes to the configuration of our servers and are already seeing less disconnections.

These changes should improve player experience while we isolate the core issue causing this and work on more improvements.

Recently, we have noticed an increase in connectivity issues leading to players being unfairly sanctioned.

Over the last week, we have dedicated members of our team to investigate a fix for this.

While work is still in progress, we have some encouraging updates to share ⤵️

Why are the bp weeklies gone????

For players on other platforms who have been encountering server issues related to disconnections, we are also actively investigating these.

We aim to share status updates on this topic as well in the coming days.

We will update you as investigations continue.

Temporary Workaround: After the Y6S4.2 patch, a new icon will appear when you are experiencing a related audio issue.

If you see this audio icon, pre-emptively rebooting your console should help avoid the issue.

UPDATE: Next week, we're releasing the Y6S4.2 patch, which should help limit the crashes related to audio issues on Xbox.

We suspect sound data corruption is causing this, so patch 4.2 will help track when it affects players and collect data to investigate where it comes from.
