Hey Angry Noob. Since the 11th of Feb 2019, the base Operators are no longer included in any edition of the game. Legacy Operators will now cost 500, 1000, 1500, and 2000 Renown based on how many Operators from a specific CTU you have unlocked. You can find out more in this guide: https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/000032916/Content-of-Rainbow-Six-Siege-Editions-R6S/

Hey everyone,

We have been testing another potential solution to the IQ, Clash and Deployable Shield exploits. With this update in place, we have not been able to reproduce these exploits internally. As such, we are pushing a patch today on PC only , Clash and Deployable Shields will remain disabled.

We are planning to deploy this same patch on consoles as soon as possible, the earliest deployment window available to us is Thursday, June 27th. Until then, IQ will be removed from the operator selection screen for consoles.

If you are able to reproduce the exploits following the patch deployment, please let us know through the ... Read more

*Removed reference to dropshotting as that is fixed (supposedly).

Dropshotting fixed. Please take a second look at the patchnotes :D. We are working on shield exploits.

Basically the previous variation had acceleration, meaning you reach your full speed after being a second or so on the maximum with your analog stick.

Now it will be more linear, which means you will reach that speed instantly if you push hard right or left, basically it's more linear, like with mouse movement, which depends on how much it traveled.

That's at least how I understand it from the post and others.

Basically, yes. It will be an option, so you can keep the classic curve if you would prefer!

Thanks for clearing that up, and any chance we could please get some information or comment on the intentional server crashes/DDoS/Lag Switching? That seems to be another big topic at the moment.

It is a big topic here as well, and we are well aware of the impact it is having. We don't have anything more than that to share.

I know there's rumors where some Siege Devs reportedly temporarily left the team to help with Breakpoint and Quarantine and if that's true then I have no idea why they would cripple one of their top profitable games by making Devs leave and let the game go to crap.

That isn't true.

The reason it is a complicated is because it is tied to one of our most base level systems that touches on nearly everything. It also isn't a situation where throwing more devs on it fixes it faster, because only so many people can work on it at once.
