A new crash on Xbox One has been discovered resulting from today's backend update. We are investigating the cause and will update on our Twitter account when we have more information.

Believe we hit this one - Given the unpopularity of the ability, adding this back in would just lead to diluting the loot pool more with an ability that most players won't want to use anyway.

Ok so basically, the glitch doesn’t happen 100% of the time, I’ve maybe had it happen to me a dozen times so far, but I’ll try to explain it in full.
If you kill an enemy player and pick up their gold weapon after switching from your primary weapon, it has a chance to crash your game,
It doesn’t matter if you have a lower rarity already in your inventory because it’s still crashed when I haven’t had the same weapon of a different rarity and when I have.
I’m not sure if it crashes on other platforms than PS4 because I mainly play on PS4 and haven’t checked any other platforms
You do not have enough time to do any other inputs, the crash happens on the exact frame the gold weapon from the dead enemy enters your inventory.

As for the stream, feel free to drop any video clips or screenshots of things you come across in our Bug Reports channel in the Realm Royale Discord. QA scans through those each morning and attempts to replicate anything they haven't seen/documented.
Hey! Can you describe some of the actions your taking before the crash? I haven't been able to reproduce this. Some questions that may help us track this one down:
Where did the gold weapon drop from? Did you have the lower rarity of the weapon already equipped when you picked it up? Is the crash instant or does it take a few seconds? Can you complete any actions like jump or movement ability before it crashes?
We'll continue to look into this to see if we can track down the cause and get a fix.
Cross-play and cross-progression currently include Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Discord. PlayStation 4 progress does not transfer to other platforms at the current time.
Shredder is currently disabled due to a bug. We'll re-enable it as soon as we have a fix. In the meantime, forges will not craft the shredder.

- Can you post the video in our Discord channel please under Bug Reports please? This sounds like you were kicked from the server, but it's hard to know for sure until we can see it.

Thanks for putting this together! I'll add some notes/questions next to each so you are all aware of where we are at with them:
Off-center mount bug (any and all mounts affected, lasts entire game) - We're currently researching this one. We haven't been able to get reliable repro steps for it yet, but we'll continue to work on it.
Popping sound glitch (usually after being resurrected or resurrecting others, being in or near the fog) - We're actively working on a fix for this one now. We currently don't have a time frame for when a fix may be introduced, but it's a priority for our team.
Ghost bug (where a blue impression of your character stays on the screen partially blocking view, usually disappears but sometimes remains whole game intermittently) - This one is a bit odd, because we it seems to happen inconsistently and fairly rarely. QA continues to keep an eye out for it to see if we can figure out what'...

my advice, a lot of people benefit from cranking down the sensitivity if they're having a hard time at the outset. Practice with Slug Rifle and Revolver. Don't be afraid to bail on a fight if it's not going your way.

Hey! We're aware of the issue and are investigating. For now, you should be able to use the Invite by Name feature. If you go to the Social Page > Party tab, clicking the left thumb stick will bring up the text field.

One piece of criticism I actually really wanted to share, I was VERY excited when yall released the "roadmap" for the future of realm, but then I was very disappointed to see that it was a roadmap exclusively on the near future for changes made to the game's balance and where content creation in the immediate future would focus. I was much more interested in hearing about the future of competitive, whether or not the game will be sticking with 3 distinct modes filled with bots or whether an experiment would be made to cut it back to 1 mode with fewer or no bots (similar to Apex legends), if there are plans to leave beta, etc.
Communication from the devs is always awesome as a fan and player, but I was distinctly disappointed to see that the communication is focusing more on what to expect from future patches and less on, "This is our mindset and the direction we want to take the game."
