We specifically introduced new code in the recent updates to solve this problem. If you can produce this on unstable without mods that would be awesome. If not I will have to side with TwoTonGamer and say it's a mod issue. The feedback I've gotten from people that previously reported this issue is that the bug is actually resolved.

Bug details: https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=52883.0

If you have more info though please let me know.

I'm half tempted to mark it the answer and lock the thread.

As people continue down that line of conversation, I am going to delete all posts on that topic in this thread. This thread is ONLY for testing discussion. Tynan has directly addressed the statement made by martindirt responding to that specific comment. Read and comment on the Mythbusting thread if you wish to continue the conversation.

You can address your concerns in the pinned topic where Tynan addresses these complaints directly. Keep this thread on topic. Any other discussion along these lines I will delete from this thread, this thread is for discussion of testing the Tycho build.

We are reaching the end of the Tycho build testing. The hope is to have everything working flawlessly, of course! We are looking for people to start hunting down incompatibilities and testing new features.

New Features:

New items: gunlink, beret, cape, eltex skullcap.

New permits (steel, Glitterworld Medicine, silver, food).

New caravanning system, it should be much faster as animals instantly follow loaders. Also check out changes to loading shuttles from non-base locations.

To access the Tycho build, right click on RimWorld, select Properties, go to the Betas tab, and select the Unstable Build - Public Testing.

Feel free to comment here, or jump in to the development discord server here: https://discord.gg/qEEX5Mg

I was just trying to nip the conversation in the bud, not necessarily saying only those groups exist.

CM Color Coded Mood Bar has been updated to 1.2. Has the author of Moody announced they aren't updating?

Let me sum up how this conversation will go. People upset over the cost or their favorite mods being broken will pile in here and tell you how it is not worth it, and affirm that is just other mods added.

Other people will tell you it is worth buying to support the dev, because Rimworld is such a time sink, and even if they aren't that in to the DLC, they think you should buy it for that reason.

Another group will then tell you that the DLC is great and adds a lot, and may or may not say it's worth the price.

From what I've seen the general consensus is that with the updates happening since the release, especially 1.2, that people in general find the DLC adds a lot to the game they enjoy. As for the question about high tech additions, almost everything added is high tech. The 'nobility' are high tech nobles, not middle ages nobles.

Its to make end game more varied and interesting, not specifically harder. Its not about nerfs or trying to beat the player. The point is to make the end game more engaging.

Thanks to those that have put things in already, we appreciate all the cases we can look at!

IMO the biggest problem with sea ice is that once you 'solve' the survival element, it actually gets kind of dull. You get less visitors, less fauna, no flora, its all just an expanse of white, etc.

No geyser on sea ice, I don't know if its possible without extreme random chance like dande said.

I like to do sea ice sometimes with rich noble, but I drop in just enough supplies to build the first house and power.

Are you a master of the killbox, a trap tactician? Do you consider end game raids a ‘solved problem’ rather than something to sweat over? Ludeon is looking to make end game raids more exciting and need your help!

What are we looking for?

  • Screen shots of your end game base defenses if raids have become trivial for you.
  • Action screen shots of these raids being defeated
  • If you are playing unmodded or with only very few mods, we are looking for saved games for us to examine.
  • If you choose to share a game save. You can upload it zipped to reduce size, if you use google drive please make sure it is shared publicly so I don’t have to request access.
  • You can also ping @pheanox on our discord server: https://discord.gg/MwnRrXt in the misc-development forum with your save.
  • ...

That's a good suggestion, I'll pass it on.
