I don't need it's necessary to forbid people from queueing 3's as a party of two. All you need is to provide the option, for people who are bothered by it, to opt out of being matched with parties of two. That would be fantastic for tournaments too.

I read most of what gets posted on here, and it gets passed along and discussed with the right teams at the studio even if we don't reply in a thread. In some cases, if I don't engage with a tag, it's usually because the tone or the context comes off as a personal attack or irrationally negative. At that point it's way easier for me to drill down to the core issue(s) (matchmaking, player behavior) and log it for internal discussion. Hard to tell on Reddit when it's supposed to be a joke, but this isn't something we would ever consider when troubleshooting connection problems between a group of players and a server. In all likelihood, there is some sort of third-party issue causing this disruption (ISP, IXP, etc.) that we will do our best to diagnose and address.

Got to ask. What is the secret sauce in the matchmaking? I feel like it can’t just be on MMR I feel sometimes in the background I have been sent to the “bad teammate” shadow realm for 8 games or so.
While I can't divulge exactly how the process works, I can guarantee you Exodia isn't sending you to some shadow realm where bad players get paired with other bad players.
