EDIT: Fwahhhhh, found it! It's because of how close you're cutting it to the pillar beneath you exploding. That runs a reset proc that resets your damage mod as the intent is to knock you backwards off it (It's why your character lands behind where the pillar was rather than where the boss is)

Hey Folks, with the release of more aura effects like the Devourer Aura, Flower trail and the upcoming Eclipse halos we have been working on expanding out the aura slot to include more interesting effects and clean up some of the issues that had been causing the aura slot trouble.

Recently we made an update so that auras are no longer hidden on animation, this was a legacy restriction we had in place as aura's generally only affected the hands and in some cases weapons. This is why you can now see your auras while doing emotes etc and it has been a great boon to the fluidity of different auras and effects but we are also actively monitoring for any issues arising from this change.

Right now we are aware that this impacts the flaming sword enhancement and the yellow glow on certain weapons when using activated auras like the jack of trades/lumberjack etc and we are looking to address these specific issues in the future with more targeted resolutions instead of sw...

Issue is known and is being investigated, unfortunately it has 2 things going against it, in the grand scheme of things its a minor issue, its not causing something to break or not function its just a visual issue and its resilient. The team has had a look at it from a few angles and not found a quick resolve, so its sitting in the spot of needs further investigation but not high priority so it's gonna be a little slow to turnaround.

Issue seems to be leaving the instance ahead of things, thankfully your loot is still there so next kill you do just loot in the instance and you will get both. We are working on a fix for this entirely tho.

Heyo! Team is aware of this issue and we are looking into it currently. Did you TP out and not check the drop inside the instance?

Update : We are aware of an issue with Loot not appearing in the chest outside of the instance, this loot will stay in the instance so doing another kill will get your the previous loot as well.
Please avoid logging out/world hopping while you have loot in this state as it will be lost.
Team is aware of the issue and working on a resolution.
This issue has been hotfixed and resolved, if you had run into this issue please complete the boss again.

I checked with Easty during the week and the usual launch time of 11:15 BST is the plan. There is always a slim chance something comes up and we need to delay the launch time but we will keep players updated if that's the case.

The Gate of Elidinis is an upcoming skilling boss launching next Monday the 23rd that is narratively tied to the recently launched Ode of the Devourer quest. There's plenty moving behind the scenes on this, with more communication to come this month. Just to be really clear though, that communication will be about the consultancy - not any firm decisions or announcements.

Working with a variety of players through various forms of feedback / consultancy is what will lead us to any improvements or major changes.
