Not to burst your bubble but 76 signatures in 23 hours is really bad lol, definitely comparing it to the game's audience size

I think I know what you're referring to. If that issue had been brought to the team's attention earlier it would have been something we took care of. The reason said scandal happened was because the information was withheld from us. It was also not widely known even among the pro teams until it happened (hence the scandal in the first place). Nowadays we heavily prioritize any issues which might affect games. Even moreso in cases related to new characters.

While we can't blame anyone making a video on a bug - or at least I never would, personally - privately vs publicly exposing an exploit GENERALLY won't change a response time, and rather instead puts you at risk of reports. We were able to address this quickly because a hotfix was already in the works for other things that this could ship alongside. If we weren't able to, this would have instead likely resulted in atlas being disabled until a fix was possible.

And again, I'm not trying to blame anyone her...

Do you have any information on where these players reported the issue?

From what I can tell of our official PTS bug report channels, I can't find anything. I also tried tracking all tweets made toward several hirez accounts that aren't associated with bugs during our PTS cycle and couldn't find anything there. I've also looked through pro player feedback and olympian feedback and haven't found anything there.

Keep in mind, I'm not trying to place blame on anyone here. But if we have a blind spot, I'd love to know where so we can find issues like this in the future.

Hi! Just to be clear - we take messages like this very seriously, and action as soon as we're able.

We do work pretty often with players when they find issues that might be exploitable in order to get them fixed ASAP. In fact, we pretty often fix very niche issues that the BMT guys find before they post their videos. I didn't see any channels reporting this until the weekend (it's definitely NOT in our PTS reports channels), and we took care of the issue as fast as we were able.

I try to make sure I have eyes on any given place that issues could be reported and am open to private messages here, on discord or on twitter. If there's an avenue you feel we should pay more attention to, I'm all ears!

Can you tell me which discord you reported this in? I don't see it reported anywhere in our official server, nor do I see any logs of it being posted there.

If we do have a problem with our reporting channels I'd like to know!
