The biggest event in gaming today is gamescom, a massive spectacle held annually at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. This year, RTS fans can celebrate the recent Early Access launch of Stormgate a couple different ways!

It’s finally here! Stormgate Early Access becomes free-to-play for all players at 10 a.m. Pacific time on August 13, but for any players who can’t wait to jump in, we’re running a special Twitch Drop & Steam Drop today that will give you a head start so you can get in today! Greetings, Stormgaters!

We witnessed some incredible Stormgating this weekend, with Probe triumphing in the TastelessTV Stormgate Showdown and becoming our first Stormgate Champion! Additionally, in grassroots play, Bee and Percival claimed victory in the Alpha Navigators Cup for the Europe and Americas regions, respectively.
