Surviving Mars does pretty frequently go on sale. It was 75% off just last month: https://twitter.com/Surviving_PDX/status/1554149966456557570

Greetings Commanders!

Due to some last-minute issues discovered during the internal testing, we made the decision to postpone the release of Hotfix #2. We don’t foresee it to be a long delay and you can still expect the hotfix to come out this week.

Apologies for the prolonged wait, but we want to make sure that the next hotfix will only bring solutions to the already existing issues, and will not introduce any new ones instead.

We will share more updates on this with you as soon as possible.

Thank you so much for your understanding!

just curious if the black squares on all the B&B DLC UI for mac will be sorted with this one?

The fix for this issue is a bit more complicated that we anticipated, so it won't be included in this hotfix, but we will prioritize it so we can include it in the next one.

Greetings Commanders,

Our work to improve the current state of the game continues this Monday with the release of hotfix #2. We are still working on a few fixes and finalizing the patch notes, but we want to reassure you know that we’re continually looking into the issues you have reported to us.

We would like to highlight that in hotfix #2 we aim to address the problems with birth control in the domes, drones trying to get to places they cannot reach, and missing images for anomalies.

We expect the hotfix to contain more fixes than this, and we're currently testing solutions for multiple other issues. We're hoping to have fixes for the hazards not triggering correctly, and duplicate anomalies. We'll continue to monitor the progress of these fixes and are hopeful that they will be in Monday's hotfix, but it will depend entirely on our internal testing.

This is not the last hotfix we have planned for Surviving Mars, and we'll have more news on th... Read more

Greetings Commanders,

We would like to let you know that our team is working hard to address some issues you have flagged with the Below & Beyond expansion and free content update.

You can expect the first hotfix to come out on Monday, September 13th, simultaneously on all platforms. It’s going to address the problem with disappearing pipes and cables, and change the Asteroid Lander increment from 5 to 1, among other fixes and tweaks.

We are also trying to help out players who are struggling with continuing their game on the pre-patch save files. While the hotfix should fix some of the more persistent issues on the old save files, for the best experience we recommend starting a new save file.

Finally, we would like to thank all the players for your patience, understanding, and the time you spent on sending the feedback and reporting the bugs to us.

This is not the last time you’ll hear from us on this topic. We are fully committed to i... Read more

What are those weird looking things that seem to be shooting dust out of the ground? I always thought it was some mystery related thing, but it was never involved in any of the myteries I've done...
These are another localized disaster -... Read more

Most crash reports that we are receiving involve one of the following reasons:

- Outdated mods
- Old VGA drivers
- RC Transport send to collect Waste Rock (in savegames made prior Armstrong update)

Could you send a bug report by pressing Ctrl and F1, explain the missing button and click on the checkbox for the attachment of a save. Do you have any mods enabled, when was that save created?

It's a known issue that we're working on. Sometimes, while outside of their home Dome, Colonists decide to relocate to another Dome, bypass the walking distance restriction and go on a suicide run.

Just take care to have at least one functional Concrete Extractor.

Thanks for responses.
It will treat people who are not at work during this workshift. Generally speaking, each Colonist has 8 hours work time (in workplace), 8 hours sleep time (in home) and 8 hours spare time (to visit other buildings).

Nope! That does nothing. Dont forget little drones themselves get covered in dust aswell, not just rovers.

Seems like its one of the things you guys missed! There needs to be a way to clean drones and rovers, as after 20 or so days every single rover and drone in my colony is completely grimed. Maybe a carwash buildi...

Use the Salvage tool available in the first section of the Build Menu, then click on a cable to delete it.
