The Darth Malgus server is now back online! Thanks and have a good weekend, everyone!
We are getting ready to bring down the Darth Malgus server in about 15 minutes. Expected downtime is still 1.5 hours. I'll post an update here should that timeline change or when the server is brought back online.

We will be taking the Darth Malgus server down at 5:30pm CT / 10:30pm UTC for an estimated downtime of 1.5 hours. This is to account for impacting as few players as possible as it is the weekend. We are still investigating what has been causing the longer load times on the Darth Malgus server. During this deployment, we be will adding increased monitoring to help us identity the root causes and narrow down what's happening with the server.
Until this issue is completely resolved, it is possible that players on the Darth Malgus server will continue to experience longer load times. We appreciate your continued patience while we work on a resolution.

Due to the patch being deployed on Wednesday, players will have indeed have 6 days for week one. The weekly reset will remain on Tuesdays per usual.
A content patch being released on Wednesday is not the norm though it did occur once before with a patch that contained an update for Galactic Seasons. This time around is due to Monday being a US holiday (Labor Day)...
Galactic Season 5 will begin with the launch of Game Update 7.3.1. Once the update goes live, players will be able to make progress through the Free Reward track or the Subscriber Reward track (both tracks are available to Subscribers!) and earn new rewards. In previous seasons, players embarked on their storyline missions with a new companion. Season 5 introduces a new way to engage with the story told in Galactic Seasons, with story progression now a part of the Galactic Seasons rewards. Next week, we will be setting up our game servers to be moved over to the cloud. This is an initiative we have been testing for months beginning with moving the Public Test Server over to the cloud last year, and testing a new server on AWS in April of this year. We are thrilled to announce the next steps in this journey with our players.

Rakghoul Resurgence on Corellia
Date: August 8th - August 14th (BEGINS AND ENDS AT 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 25+
The Hyland Organization for Rakghoul Neutralization (T.H.O.R.N.) has issued an official level-2 emergency alert concerning an outbreak of the Rakghoul plague on Corellia. Quarantines have been put in place to restrict traffic of the plague off-world, but exceptions will be made for individuals with priority clearance.

The new PvP season “Reign of Glory” starts on July 18th. In addition to the new rewards coming in Season 3, we’ve made changes to the points players receive on several PvP Maps, including all Huttball Maps. We’ve also adjusted the requirements for Arena Objectives and PvP Arena Weekly Missions. Let’s dive into all the changes coming in Season 3!
