Hi everyone,

First, thank you to everyone who submitted reports regarding the Operations bug that would switch a Master Mode phase to Veteran Mode under certain conditions. We have a fix for it! What’s going to happen now is we will be taking all servers down at approximately 10:15am CT / 4:15pm UTC to deploy the fix. Estimated downtime is 30 minutes.

I will be posting updates here if anything changes.

Hello all, 

A few more issues the Dev team is tracking and looking into after 7.4b. Thanks to everyone who called these out.

1. The new mail indicator is not always displayed. Transitions may cause it to have inconsistencies. 
2. The repair tab for single items is always deactivated. Players can still use the "Repair all" button.
3. Flashpoint Objective Meridian - Using the terminal to finish the mission will despawn the reward crate.
    

Hello all,

The disabled Master Mode Timed and Master Mode Survival Operation Achievements have been reenabled. When entering these modes, if any player joins with an active operation phase while the current group does not have one, it will force the group's difficulty to match the active phase.
To set your desired mode, you will need to reset your active phase and change the difficulty back.

Following up on the character transfers to the Shae Vizla server conversation. Starting a new thread to keep all discussion relevant to the info provided below. We will be doing transfers with a few limitations in place. They are the following:

• There will be a minimum character level requirement. Specific level TBD. 
• For transfers specifically to Shae Vizla, we are looking to provide free transfers, for a specific period, of time to players who have been a Subscriber for at least 90 consecutive days.
  • There will be a limited number of free transfers allowed. 
• There will be a credit cap limit per character. We are still determining the exact amount.   

As we work toward pinning down the specifics of these limitations, we will keep you informed of when transfers will be opening up.

Just letting you all know that we are going to be releasing Game Update 7.4b next week (exact date TBD). A full list of patch notes will be available either on Monday or Tuesday. There’s quite a bit in this patch but to give you a glimpse into some of the fixes that will be going into this update, the following will be included: 

• Saboteur players will now see the option to contact Jonas when dealing with the SIS on Ord Mantell.
• The "Separatist Elimination Requisition Cache" now rewards Tech Fragments instead of Conquest Commendations as intended.
• Loot will correctly appear after the 3rd boss of Objective Meridian.
• FR/DE - Daily and Weekly PVP missions now appear in the mission terminals.
• Fixed an issue where the drop rates of Galactic Seasons reputation currency were lower than intended in previous seasons.

Gonna make this one follow up post for now as the team is getting ready to break for the upcoming holiday. 

I wanted to hop into this thread to generate conversation about what players (particularly those who are in the APAC region) want when it comes to character transfers for the Shae Vizla server. 

I want us to have a respectful conversation and/or friendly discourse about what's best for our players in the APAC region, and of course, for our game. Our ultimate goal is to have a healthy server that also provides the best home for our APAC players. 

We opened an APAC server to create a better overall experience for the regional players and grow the number of players in that region. We also had the unique opportunity to improve the economy by delaying and possibly restricting the amount of credits that flowed into the server. That is giving us very insightful details about what defines a healthy economy.

Wanted to chime in and give you all an update on where we stand with character transfers to the Shae Vizla server. 

• One of our top priorities is keeping the economy on the Shae Vizla server stable.
• We are still evaluating Shae Vizla player populations and activity to determine the best timeframe to open transfers to/from the server. We're reviewing a variety of data points, including (but not limited to), credits obtained, characters created, current character levels, Achievements, and more.  

There is a lot we are learning about the economy and introducing millions or billions of credits will negate our ability to make any refinements. I want to let you all know about some of the topics we are discussing behind the scenes. 

One point I do want to address upfront, when we initially launched the server, we said we intended to open transfers at a later time. That is still a possibility, but...

Hey Community!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We’ve investigated and the drop rates are in fact lower than intended. We made an internal change to how these drops are distributed and it unintentionally reduced the drop rate of the Galactic Season Reputation items. We will be fixing this in an upcoming patch, and the drop rates will return to what you remember!
