Hello,

i use Uplay+ to play AC Valhalla, since i've started to play (a month ago), i've got so far:

  • ingame shop not working at all, online service error (now solved)
  • online service error when hovering community pictures, either mine or other ones. (as i could see over the web, reddit, forums here, it's an issue for LOTS of players BUT not even in the Known Issues Megathread!!)
  • Beowulf mission not working (solved today)
  • random crashs to desktop without error (especially in one single region - still analysing with nVidia debug)
  • randomly getting thrown out of the game without error BUT connect saying "some online service error, while you continue playing - well not as i get thrown out - we continue to blabla etc in yellow in the app below.


Now, after i tried to solve all the above errors today by doing the following:

  • Changing E-Mail and Password to new ones, my account was pretty "old", so though maybe kinda reset my account would help.
  • Going into the menu, then opening "Ubisoft Connect Overlay", to get the Beowulf Mission Letter in the long house.. Astonishing..
  • Allowing ALL uplay / ubisoft connect executables in the Windows Firewall (only ubisoft connect was allowed before)
  • Allowing ALL traffic from my computer by setting it in DMZ, uPnP, disabling Teredo List in my router
  • Setting up manually the 80,443 ports (whyever if ALL traffic was allowed, but hey, why not) for connect


I still have the bloody hover on pictures error (code: 0x20100302) and out of nowhere, i can't open Reda's Shop anymore. When trying i get "A problem occured while connecting to an online service etc, with error code: 0xb00001f4". I can still accept the daily contracts.. Of course, i reset my LAN connection, restarted (cold restart) my PC... Fast traveled and back, nothing helps, the error code is not even documented nor google knows it.

The Reda shop was at least working for me ALL THE TIME. How can this happen that it doesnt work anymore when i just basically openend everything i can on my computer? This makes no sense at all!

Yes, i'm getting tired of this, as said it's a single player game and beside those crashs (which are happening only with AC:V - I played 80h of WD: Legion just before without ANY issue or crash to desktop!) - i'm getting overwhelmed with online service error. Today it's just taking me all the fun of even playing this game.

Please advise what i can do more or who's gonna solve my issues because i wont paying anymore for a Uplay Plus service which seems not to work properly.

Hello rtxus. I do apologize for the delay in reaching out to you about these issues you're experiencing while playing Valhalla. I do thank you for the screenshot you provided, as well as all of the steps you've done so far in an attempt to resolve these error codes and get the game working again. Since you have tried most of our connection steps, I recommend opening a ticket on our Support Site and sending over a screenshot of those ports so that we can get a better understanding of what's going on there.

It also looks like you're having some crashes as well, correct? Would you confirm for me the region that this seems to occur on the most?

While I know we have had some degradation our our Ubisoft Connect service I would not like to speculate whether those timings would line up to when you were experiencing these connectivity issues in game. Regarding your second query, when you state the game "quits without any error", does this return you to the game menu or completely close the program as if you have chosen to manually end the task? Lastly, as there has been some delay since you reporting these issues and my response today, would you be able to confirm whether you are still experiencing these issues or if these are less frequent since the most recent update?
