[2022] [Manhunt] Mathias / Trig mission is stuck at challenging difficulty

I believe you should be able to by travelling to Roosevelt Island and at the start of the stronghold, open the difficult screen and select Manhunt.

If the Issue also happens with the second manhunt bounty, I invite you to add a screenshot of the problem to your report.

This will help our investigation, in order to determine the best possible solutions.

As far as I know, many of the manhunt missions are actually intended to be a higher difficulty by default. Have either of you been able to complete this mission? If so, if you reset the manhunt progress and re-do the mission are you able to change the difficulty after that?

I couldn't find any internal information citing if the difficulty was increased or if the difficulty selector for the Manhunts should be come locked to 'challenging' so I have reached out to our Division team to confirm if this change is intentional or a bug.
