OK, I'm fed of this already. I'm having a stable crash rate of 5-10 per hour, which is absolutely ridiculous and annoying AF.
I have probably sent few dozens of crash reports via Uplay already over the course of last few days but this does not seem to go in any direction. Ubisoft, this is a waste of time, I've been kicked out of party in the middle of the mission, crashed in menus, while in a safe house, everywhere. And I'm sure I'm not the only one eating this sht.

  • DX 11/12, fullscressn/borderless - no difference.
  • Two monitors/one monitor - no difference.
  • Overclocked/non-overclocked CPU, RAM, GPU - no difference.
  • Installed clean windows and only Nvidia drivers - no difference.
  • Then installed chipset, audio, LAN drivers - you are already guessing, right?

Dxdiag
Msinfo

Some details on crashes:
  1. Crashes occur no matter what I am doing in the game.
  2. Prior crash the game stutters 1-2 times, then freezes, then crashes.
  3. Every time Uplay offers to send a crash report, which I always do but now I'm sick of it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am sorry to hear that you all are having difficulties with launching The Division 2.

If you feel this is an EAC error, please perform the steps in our EAC troubleshooting FAQ.

This could also certainly be an issue relating to move general PC software issues, so I recommend the steps in our PC crashing/launch issues FAQ. Please begin by disabling background applications and then perform the remaining steps while leaving those apps disabled and trying the game between steps. Please note that the final instruction in that FAQ is to send in your system files to our team. If you get to that point, please let me know, and I'll look into the files. Please make sure to have background apps disabled and to have tried the game before getting those files.

Hi redsumiko. Thank you for sharing. A few players have found that doing a clean install of their NVIDIA drivers helped. We also generally recommend programs like MSI Afterburner to be disabled, as they tend to cause software conflicts with Ubisoft titles.
Are you able to provide her PC specs via Pastebin links?

Hi guys! Thanks for the reports. If you are having memory leak issues, a player has provided this workaround.
We also recommend adjusting the priority of the Uplay client to Below Normal in your Task Manager.
We also have these PC steps in general.
If you continue to have issues, please submit your MSINFO and dxdiag files to a support ticket.

We'd like to look into the issues/crashes relating to DX12 a bit further.

Could you post your DXDIAG? Instructions below.

  • Press your Windows key or go into Start.
  • Type run and hit enter. A new window should appear.
  • In the new window, type dxdiag and hit OK.
  • You should now see a new window called DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
  • At the bottom of this window, press Save All Information.
  • Open up the new file you created and copy all the information to http://pastebin.com/ into the New Paste window.
  • Once all the information is there, press Create New Paste and provide us with that link.

Thanks!

@MrZweistein Are you able to provide your MSINFO and dxdiag files over a ticket? I do not see a ticket currently open under this account.
@Nomad.5th.SFG Can you do the same thing?

An incredible disappointment

Please be sure to include all of the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far in your case notes, as this will help us to have a better understanding of the issue so far.

Once you have done this, or if you already have a case, could you please share the case number so we can take a closer look? Thanks!
