Hello everyone,

We are releasing an update that will solve the recent issue that happens to some players in the Cup of the day.
Indeed, some records were not counted by the server during the Time Attack session and some players had a wrong placement.

Alongside that, we're pushing the first version of club rooms and campaign lists in the main menu.
There is no need to update your dedicated servers for that update.

+ Displayed in the main menu when the Cup of The Day is about to start and is ongoing

+ Activated record saving in Knock Out phase of Cup of The Day
+ Fixed differential times in Cup of The Day (missing zeros)
+ Fixed time gap display in round-based modes (for Cup of The Day too)
+ Added possibility to click on players in the live ranking to spectate them in Cup of The Day


+ Added score table, time gap, laps counter, and many others to be customizable UI via xmlrpc

After an incredible 2 days of racing Mudda and Link, players from Open Grand League will both be part of the TMGL Winter 2021 season.

Mudda is the first Australian player to compete in the TMGL league. He showed a strong performance throughout Open Grand League season and will be a very serious challenger.

Matt and Yannex are moving out from the TMGL.

The Combine match will take place this weekend to close out the TMGL Fall 2020 Season. The bottom 8 TMGL players who didn't qualified for the final will face the top 8 Open Grand League players.

The Combine consists of four challenges that will be played throughout the whole weekend to showcase the strengths of each player participating. The 16 players will start with the Knockout and a regular TMGL 6-lap step on Saturday evening from 8 PM CET. The show will continue Sunday at 6 PM CET with Time Attack and Final mode from 7 PM CET.

At the end of the Combine, the two best placed players from Open Grand League in the top 8 will be guaranteed the promotion while at most two worst placed TMGL players in bottom 8 will be demoted. If OGL players do not beat the TMGL champions, there will not be a guaranteed spot for them during Winter 2021 Season.

You don't have to understand our priorities. Developers have their to do lists and we handle the priorities of to do lists in linked to many parameters.

However you are welcome to constructively report any issue or feedback to be sure that the team is aware of this issue.
We received many feedback from our alpha testers but it's always good to have reports or feedback from different kind of players.
Some players prefer building tacks, items, other one developing things, other ones competing, running servers or rooms and other ones prefer racing, winning trophies or playing with friends or family. Players have different interests when connecting to the game and having reports from different type of players is always rich for the team.

Hello everyone!

This week was marked with the beginning of the Cup of the day which we all hope you enjoyed playing
Following that, we are pushing hotfixes that should improve the daily event alongside other minor changes in today's update:

+ Fixed the time gap UI at CPs in Cup of the Day and round-based modes
+ Fixed rankings display in the OGL event
+ Improved the TAA anti-aliasing
+ Fixed the issue where WebM files were not working on signs
+ Previous Track of the day and Summer 2020 trophies will be given to each player in the next few days.

The beta phase of the Cup of the Day is coming to Trackmania! The first edition will take place on Monday, November 2nd starting at 7 PM CET (6 PM UTC). The Cup of the Day is a daily competition played on a brand new Track of the Day built by the community.

What is the Cup of the Day?

Every day the competition starts at 7 PM CET with a 10 minute Time Attack phase. At the end of this phase, players are sent to their match server which will be created according to their Time Attack standings. Up next is the Knockout mode, where the last player to cross the finish line in each round is eliminated. The winner is the last person standing!

Mudda from Australia is the Trackmania Open Grand League Fall 2020 winner!
He dominated the Fall 2020 season beating the 2006 World Champion SuperCarlouf.

Link and the former TMGL player Cap share the third position beating the three OtterWorld players: Dark, Dofault and Tjalic.
GranaDy takes the last spot for the Combine match after an heroic Step 6 performance.

These eight players will face the bottom eight players from the TMGL on the Combine Match

After announcing the new competition tools this week, Cup of the day was also something we were working on for quite some time and we're glad to announce to you that the first one will happen on the 2nd of November!

From that date and every day at 7 PM CET, you will be able to play and compete against other players from around the world on the new Track of the day during a Time Attack session that will then be followed by a Knock-out mode. Trophies will be awarded during each Cup of the day to every player based on their position. The cup of the day will be in a beta phase for the upcoming weeks until we are satisfied with it.

For his first season in the TMGL, Gwen won the regular season with 3 step wins. For competition organizers, we created a competition tool enabling you to run different types of competitions. This activity will allow every club to create and manage a competition while also showcasing it in the "Events" section of the game.

What kind of competition can I run with the competition tool?

• Type of competition: simple elimination bracket.
• Competition can start from 16th-finals, 8th-finals, quarterfinals or semi-finals.
• Rounds automatically run: when a round is over, the next one starts immediately.
• Game modes supported: Rounds, Laps and Cup.
• Participants: up to 64 players per match and after each round half the players are eliminated.
• Optionally: it's possible to have a qualification phase in Time Attack on one map for selecting best players registered.
