Hi Tenno, 

We have received reports of some players being unable to get past the Launcher screen. We are actively working to resolve these issues, but have instructions for the time being. 

First, be sure you are running the latest iOS on your iPhone or iPad device. Many users who have reported a crash after hitting "Play" on the launcher screen are running iOS 15. 

If you are encountering the separate but similar issues where the "Initializing" bar is looping, or you are being told that a new update for Warframe is available when you know you are on the latest version, please follow these instructions:

  • From the Launcher page, you can send Digital Extremes error logs by tapping the top left of the screen
  • You will be prompted to send or save error logs. Tap the mail app icon, and send your logs to mobile@...

Hi Tenno, this is an experimental, limited time round in the sense that we are only going to consider 1999 style items submitted before September 27th. 

The idea is that after Sep 27, we will work with artists to get several included to ship on all platforms when Warframe: 1999 releases! Once in game, any items that were accepted will permanently be available. You don't need to worry about the accepted items disappearing.

We received the email, thank you! Please be sure to update your iOS to the latest version! Running a two year old operating system (iOS 15.6.1) is causing the crash after hitting play.

This is what I see on my end. Do you not have the "play" button to the right of "Cestra Blueprint" in my screenshot?

iOS Specific Notes: 

  • Fixed an issue with Railjack where players would hit a grey screen after going from Railjack to their Dojo to their next mission. 
  • Made minor adjustments to tutorial text on-screen during Vor’s Prize:
    • “While moving hold [button] to begin a slide” is now “While RUNNING - HOLD [button] to slide” 
    • “Bullet Jump: Begin a slide and tap [jump button]” is now “Bullet Jump Begin a SLIDE [button] and tap [jump button]
    • The prompts vary slightly based on what controls setup you are using.

Hi! Are you able to get to the launcher screen? If so, please tap the top left corner of the screen instead of tapping play. You will get a 'send error logs' prompt -- tap your mail app icon, then send those logs to [email protected] ! please include a short description of your issue so we know it's you. 

Also please clarify what iPad Pro you are using and what operating system you are running. Are you on the latest iOS?

Tenno! If you are experiencing this issue there is a big way you can help us get it fixed! 

Even if you can't get into the game, if you're stuck on the launcher, you can send error logs by tapping the top left corner of the screen to 'send error logs'

Tap the mail app icon, then send your error logs to [email protected] -- include a one sentence description (i.e. 'can't connect' , 'says I need to update', etc) so that we know what your issue is. 

Also be sure you are on the latest iOS version! There may be issues if you are still running, for instance, iOS 15 from 2021.

Hi Tenno, we are trying to get to the bottom of this. Can you tell me what iOS you are on? We are noticing some issues when players are still on an older operating system, such as iOS 15. 

To help us diagnose, the best thing you could do is send us your game logs! Even if you can't get into the game, you can actually retrieve game logs by tapping the top left corner of the screen on the launcher page. It will prompt you to save or send the logs. Tap the mail app icon, then send the logs to [email protected] with a short description of the issue (i.e. "launcher is looping" just so we know it's you!)

No problem! Can't respond to everything in Discord, but if sharing images is easier there, go for it. 

Having said that, we have a fix for the grey screen issue with Railjack coming in a hotfix tomorrow!

Tenno,

Last night at 12:08 AM EST we experienced 25 minutes of connectivity issues across Warframe on all Platforms, as well as our website. Our IT team quickly identified and resolved these issues (“IT! IT! IT!”) and had Warframe and our website back online by 12:33 AM EST.

Things have remained stable, and we continue monitoring for any hiccups. Apologies to those who were trying to play last night!

Hi Tenno, we are aware of this bug and apologize for the inconvenience. While it is not fully resolved, in our July 20 TennoCon hotfix, we added "Concede Game" UI so that you can in fact exit the Komi game. This will prevent players from getting trapped on the screen. More fixes incoming.

Hi Tenno! That is certainly strange. In order to help us solve your issue, please send us your error logs! Please tap the top left corner of the launcher screen (or go to Options > Account > Send Error Logs).

It'll prompt you to 'send error logs' -- tap the mail app icon and send those to [email protected] !

Please include a short description of the issue (for example "says i need to update") so that we know it's you! Thank you Tenno.
