Heroes!

Not long ago we put live Patch 4.4.2 featuring Grudge Marks and the temporary seasonal event Geheimnisnacht.

Regrettably, we have had had to roll back the game version to 4.4.1 temporarily due to a critical issue found in the update. The issue has been fixed internally and the patch is being created now. We are expecting this to be completed and re-deployed at around 6pm CEST. We will keep you apprised in this thread of any updates or deviations from this estimation.
  • Players who have made any premium cosmetic purchases whilst Patch 4.4.2 was live will not lose those purchases. Whilst you will not see them until we re-release the update, they will appear as normal once 4.4.2 is re-deployed.
  • Players who have earned any progress with the Geheimnisnacht event quests or Grudge Mark challenges will not lose that progression, and progression will be intact once Patch 4.4.2 is re-deployed.
Our apologies for the c... Read more

Heroes of Helmgart,
On October 28th the free update Grudge Marks will be available on all platforms together with Geheimnisnacht. Besides the new content, we have also added some Quality of Life changes, and in this dev blog you can read all about the upcoming changes.

ENHANCED TAB MENU The TAB menu has gotten a make-over. The new features will show the equipped equipment of all the players and a new, more condensed layout, makes it easier to see any incoming enemies even when viewing the TAB overlay. The new overlay also shows active modifiers for the mission in progress and maintains the original functionality you’re accustomed to, such as muting players or being able to click through to their community profile on Steam.

On paper it might be a few clicks but in practice there's a bit more to it such as testing the latest EAC module works problem free with our implementation.

No news yet but we're looking into it.

No immediate plans I'm afraid, Vermintide 2 is at it's core an online coop game and we're keen to keep it that way. The feature is primarly on console because online play is restricted without a platform membership for most games (I think it's only possible for Free2Play games as I suppose those pay enough through MTX to cover the load they put on the platform services).

So offline on console is basically the same as modded realm on PC? No progression and stuff but keeps the stuff you earned in the official realm when entering the modded realm.

We'd happily look in to why this might be happening for you, Philistine, but it would require a little more input from yourself as to the logs/IDs of the crashes you're having - alas it seems you're not up for that so :ranald:

An absent-minded man of mysteries, Franz Lohner relies on his bulging journal to keep track of occurrences, intrigues and arguments around Taal's Horn Keep. Sometimes his notes are even useful, believe it or not. The Franz Lohner Chronicles are extracts from that journal.

Franz Lohner's Chronicle - Midsummer Festivities
Sonnstill’s here, with all the merriment and cavorting that’s to be expected. Folk like a good party, especially when times are hard. We’ve something of a feast planned for tonight, and I doubt there’ll be a sober head up or down the mountain by morning.

The festivities themselves? Last I heard, Kruber and Sienna were quarrelling over the details. One of those “quantity versus quality” arguments, I reckon. Our wizard does like the finer things in life, whereas old Kruber? Well, he’s more of a “just keep it coming” sort. Harsh words have been exchanged, but it’ll all sort itself out once the event gets underway – always does with that pair... Read more
