Greetings Adventurers,

We will be holding downtime 2022-12-09T07:00:00Z for 90 minutes. This patch will address the following:

  • Fixed an issue where in rare cases players could be refunded more items than intended when Trading Post actions failed. At this time, the Trading Post and player to player trading will remain disabled. We are continuing to prioritize enabling them as quickly as possible.
  • Fixed an issue where the Musket could become stuck aiming down sights when attempting to fire a shot while in a sanctuary or town.
  • Fixed a client crash that could occur during and/or after a Fast Travel if other players were equipping weapons with accessories (such as a bow’s quiver, a gauntlet floating stone, etc.).
  • Fixed a client hang/freeze that was possible when Fast Traveling or respawning near a large number of players.

Vamos a realizar una desconexión el 2022-12-09T07:00:00Z que durará unas 1.5 horas. El parche viene con los siguientes arreglos:

  • Arreglado el problema por el que en ciertos casos se podía recibir un reembolso por más objetos de lo debido cuando una acción del puesto comercial fallaba. De momento, el puesto comercial y el comercio entre jugadores permanecerán desactivados. Seguimos trabajando para reactivarlos tan pronto como nos sea posible.
  • Arreglado el error que bloqueaba el apuntado del mosquete al tratar de disparar en una ciudad o santuario.
  • Arreglado el error que colgaba el juego durante o después de realizar un viaje rápido si otros jugadores tenían equipadas armas con accesorios (como un carcaj para un arco, etc.)
  • Arreglado el error que colgaba o bloqueaba el juego al realizar un viaje rápido o reaparecer cerca de un gran número de jugadores.

Sorry, by “edge case” I meant literally when the edges of the circles touch, not that it was rare. We are prioritizing this.

We’re aware of the edge case that if you move into a weaker Sacred Ground circle from the stronger circle (that are overlapping), the heal from the weaker circle doesn’t take place. However if you step out of both circles and back into the weaker circle, we are still seeing it work. We’re working on a fix to resolve this overlapping issue.

Do you also have the materials for those recipes in your inventory? I understand that can be confusing and we are looking into it, but it may not appear if you do not have the materials.

Nuestra alarma interna ha detectado una vulnerabilidad en el puesto comercial relativa a manipulación de contratos en un estado de error. En estos momentos estamos probando una solución para este problema. Aunque solo un número muy reducido de jugadores ha intentado aprovecharse de esta vulnerabilidad, para ser precavidos y limitar el impacto en la economía del juego vamos a desactivar temporalmente el puesto comercial y el comercio entre jugadores. Lo reactivaremos en cuanto nuestras pruebas concluyan y podamos implementar la solución.

Os recordamos que cualquier jugador que se aproveche de una vulnerabilidad será penalizado por violar el código de conducta.

Greeting Adventurers,

Today our internal data alarms detected a Trading Post exploit, involving manipulating specific contracts in an error state. We have a fix for this issue in testing. Although only a small number of players attempted this, out of an abundance of caution and to avoid any potential economy impact, we are temporarily disabling the Trading Post and player to player trading and will re-enable when the testing is complete and we can deploy the change.

As a reminder, any player taking advantage of exploits will be penalized for violating our Code of Conduct.
