We will be holding downtime 2022-08-04T06:00:00Z in your local timezone for the Weekly Update. Downtime is slated to last approximately 1.5 hours (~90 minutes).

In addition to the downtime notification above, I am sorry to announce that additional testing has uncovered an issue with the Barnacles and Black Powder expedition. The team is working hard to address the issue but this means we will be delayed in activating the feature. We apologise for this inconvenience, especially on the heels of delaying Group Finder, as we endeavor to release the highest quality of experience to you all.

We’re aware of this and will be fixing it in an upcoming patch. However, it’s worth noting that the column still sorts the sell orders properly based on the number of items available. That might help out when trying to purchase in bulk!

@Shibblegritz - Correct! That’s what the data shows. As someone who spent 8 hours cutting trees nonstop… I can’t relate! Hahaha. I love it.

As for requesting exact information here, I’ll definitely discuss that request and feedback. At this time, though, I don’t have that information to provide.

We looked into this and it is dropping appropriately.

Alas, the issue here seems to be that over the last 15 days, you chopped down 360 Ironwood trees. In that time, your luck - which, as you mentioned, fluxuated a little bit due to removing and putting on luck gear, etc - wasn’t high enough to guarantee a drop of Ironwood Sap. That being said, if your luck had been consistent, you would have been guaranteed one drop. (90% of the time, though, you were well below your highest luck over the last 15 days.)

My suggestion would be to make sure your luck is higher when specifically looking for Ironwood Sap because it does directly impact your chances of it dropping.

Can you explain a little further? Also, can you double check that it’s not in your hotbar? I’ve seen some confusion when purchasing or making items lately that players aren’t expecting it to go into their hotbar, which is feedback I’ve relayed internally.

We are aware of the issue here where the perk’s effect remains active when swapping away from the weapon and have a fix currently in testing.

I have confirmed this is temporary and Space will be available again for rebind in a future update. While you will not be able to rebind it as another key when using Musical Instruments, it will be available for rebinding outside of Musical Instruments in a future update.

It does look like in this video you become exhausted and trigger the Strong Conditioning passive, so it could be an issue where either one of those interfere with the stamina gain from the ability. :thinking:

Do you also have Invigorating Combo unlocked? We’ve tested the two together and they seem to be providing the stamina on hit.

Due to the introduction of Musical Instruments where Space is a note, Space is no longer available as a keybind. It is temporary and will be available as a keybind in a future update.

If you’re unable to run New World on your Steam Deck, disable “power saving” on your Steam Deck and router.

  • To disable power saving on your Steam Deck, enable Developer Mode and turn power savings off in the settings.
  • If you’re unsure how to disable power saving on your router, please refer to your router’s manual.
