Nations tend to have a gameplay style associated. German Cruisers and Battleships are well armored for their type and can excel in close-ranged engagements.

You may notice how often you see German Cruisers and Battleships being used in smaller team Brawl formats, for instance.

Please perform a "WGCheck" and list it with your post. It provides information about your computer which might help to pin down the problem (driver or something?).

Zero confidence in... what exactly?

Community Teams report feedback in Weekly Reports, Targeted Reports, and Daily should things jump out. We also have targeted meetings to discuss specific issues and pain points when relaying feedback and information. This is part of our job and work flow.

The Survey listed above is analyzed and reported on. It's an alternate method of feedback collection as it's player-direct, albeit en masse, as opposed to relayed via community conduit. After the survey results are broken down, the results are sent out internally so people can see what information there is and to know if it matches or differs from other observations.

I'm not very sure what about the above doesn't make sense or results in zero confidence?

Surveys are broken down and analyzed, recorded, and sent out to employees in the company to know about the current state of the product and players' views on it.

If you dislike something, you should speak up. If you like something, you should speak up. Not speaking up just means your thoughts aren't included in those reports, which doesn't help it best reflect the situation.

The Community Teams report on community thoughts and behaviors daily and weekly, so the general mood and concerns of the playerbase are known regardless. Still, this is another avenue by which to make your voice heard so it's absolutely good to make use of it <3

I've escalated this question internally and will see if we can get Operations turned on for the 42k FreeXP grind. Operations were enabled for the first mission chain in the event which needed 27k FreeXP.

For the moment, though, I can encourage the use of higher Tier premium/special ships as higher Tiers tend to yield more Base XP while premium ships have bonus credit earning, reduced service cost, and increased rewards through active Bonus Packages.

I did a quick Salem game with a Green FreeXP boost equipped. It wasn't a great game, but yielded over 500 FreeXP. That would mean 84 matches would be needed, or about 4-6 hours without using better FreeXP boosts or having better matches than 392 Base XP. (Note: This is with Premium Time)



15 "Rare Bonuses" containers are available in the Free Track of the Battle Pass. That is 45 Blue Bonuses for Free-to-Play folks.

I would suggest you look into Ranked and Clan Battles. Ranked uses Random Matchmaking, but it functions which an exclusionary system. Each league can only see others that are within the same league (qualifiers see the "next league" as you are auditioning for the part). While this isn't hard-and-fast MMR, it does have a refinement effect which yields higher skilled games on average with each league climbed.

Clan Battles functions in an MMR-like way as you win rating or lose rating through your battles. Your team will eventually find the spot it's going to float in which is indicative of your team's skill relative to the rest.

Haven't had a Matchmaker thread like this in a while. As this quickly ran off the rails and received multiple reports, this one's closing down.

Our Random Battles matchmaker is random. The breadth of your theories related to "altering the ship's strength" due to win/loss streaks, but our Matchmaker is just random. Random is the best method for long-term variability and replayability as can be shown by the many players we have with thousands or tens of thousands of battles.

Please follow this template for submitting bugs:

Description: Short description of an issue with required details.

Example: Spotting-aircraft doesn't work on Iowa battleship

How to Reproduce: Exact steps need to be made to reproduce the issue

Example: Take Iowa battleship with spotting-aircraft equipped. Go in battle. Try to launch spotting-aircraft

Result: What's the result of the issue.

Example: After pressing spotting-aircraft activating button you can hear an aircraft sound but nothing happens, the aircraft stands still.

In previous iterations the battery usage would stop or regen at 1/4 speed. We moved to a more direct "Underwater = Use Depth Time" model as it's more consistent for players.

The OP's image has been edited to remove the playername and cover some of the more obnoxious language. "Naming and Shaming" is not allowed per our Community Code of Conduct, even when someone has so obviously done something in the wrong.

Customer Support Tickets are the path to getting such issues dealt with. Thank you for creating Ticket #144090542.

A review of the offender's account shows language like the above was used regularly in and out of battle for more than the last two months, but your CS Ticket was the first one filed. This is a notice to all players that CS Tickets are very important, and please do not assume that others have done so before.

In the future, when the issues are egregious, please make a CS Ticket and then message myself or one of the other Community Managers to let us know about the situation.

NA still seems to have a mirror that hasn't updated, so the direct editing method in the OP is still the way to go.

Make sure that you've logged out since you've redeemed the drops and log back in to see if they have arrived. If not, please un-link and re-link your account in regards to Twitch as that resolves most issues.

Please remember, the Twitch mission is tied to the official worldofwarships twitch channel or Community Contributors.

It sounds like the volume issue was the culprit, but good to remind folks of that requirement.

Hello everyone!

A cool piece of coding was done behind the scenes for Update 12.2. You can now hide your in-battle status in the chat window if you'd like~

What are the "swords" I'm talking about? You can see them on your Contact list when someone you know is in battle:

Most players won't see much need for this option, but Streamers can disable the "swords" appearing if they'd like to avoid unwanted attention following them into their matches.

How To Do The Thing!:

We'll have a Mod in the Modstation which will provide this, but that hasn't gone live just yet. So, I'll show you the direct way that you can do this!

(This is editing a XML file in your directory. If you don't feel tech-savvy, feel free to wait for the Modstation Mod!)
