i found a bug regarding the new farming sprinklers, mainly the power input to pumps. you can turn the power off but the pump continues to pump the water.

Read more[BUG] Whenever you place a turned on Ceiling Light 1.5 walls high, centered above a large planter filled with crops, the light bonus doesn't apply to the corner crops, only the middle row and middle column (a + pattern). This is problematic for corn since if the Ceiling Light is placed at a normal single wall height, grown corn crops physically push the Ceiling Light to the side. Also having lights 1.5 walls high is aesthetically pleasing due to the light spread and the lights being out of the way. To get around this at the moment, I'm forced to place a Ceiling Light for each column - three total lights - when a single light should suffice.
[BUG] During sunrise and sunset, if the crops have view of both the Sun and a Ceiling Light, the crops seem to register the Sun's diminishing / returning light, rather than defaulting to the Ceiling Light that's turned on above it.

Auto-Turrets attacking Horses, Intentional? I plopped a Turret down and turned it on with a gun and it started killing my horses, killing one.

Every time I open the game it immediately crashes without giving a warning, verified integrity of game files and it's still happening.
Please can you submit a ticket at our support site so we can grab some logs. Troubleshooting these type of issues over Reddit is not easy, unfortunately.
Facepunch should really do a repass on all the electric items, making the basic ones default BPs.
As a trio group, we have never used any electric equipment. Most of the equipments costs HQM, and you need to find all the pieces to make a useful circuit.
Now we have even more components for farming... I know you can buy some of them on vendors, but the basic stuff should be a default BP.
Their crafting cost is already a good gap for players to grind for.
Electricity is for mid-end game, we currently have no plans to make any of the electric items default BPs.
You start with a rock and primitive BPs then advance in technology - We do have plans to make researching more linear and we'll reevaluate the costs.
Do they also make people wet? Would be neat for snow base defense.

I partially agree with what he said, while this farming system is cool it is also pretty useless. Why spend all this time making a huge advanced farm when you can just go to a river and get a stack of pumpkins or corn. Maybe something can be implemented to where the crops can be sold to an outpost or put in the composter and use fertilizer as some sort of explosive. In my opinion, farming would just be a waste of time if all you get is food.

You're able to sell some crops and foods now at the Bandit outpost in exchange for scrap.
Fertilizer bomb is something we're considering for future updates.

This months entire update is focused on something that so few people seem to care about. Meanwhile there are balance and QOL changes that remain untouched... Who is asking for farming to be facepunch's focus?

There is a known issue if you're running boardless fullscreen with the discord overlay enabled.
Please try disabling the Discord overlay and try again.
