We are now seeing improvements for online login and Matchmaking and we are continuing to improve online login success with further fixes. Offline Play should now be available for everyone.

Temporary Connection Issue - Reverting Changes

We are aware of a recent resurgence in errors attempting to connect to servers. We are reverting a recent change in conjunction with further investigating the issue.

We have mitigated the issues impacting our server capacity and matchmaking, which were preventing players from joining new servers. There are still login queues in some regions, but these queues are now being processed correctly and you should be able to allocate servers.

While these systems are not at the quality we want them to be we are happy to report that more and more players joining one another in Eterra for the first time :slight_smile:

Matchmaking Issue - Update

Hey everyone, quick update here.

We are working internally on two different solutions in parallel. First, a partial-solution that will improve matchmaking success rate. Second we are working with our service providers to address what we believe to be the root cause of our issues that is inhibiting matchmaking.

We are overwhelmed with the surge of excitement today, and thank you for your continued patience as we fix the issue effecting player connectivity. We are working hard to get you online as quickly as possible.

There are some issues related to Matchmaking going on right now that is causing both delays to being able to login or resulting in players getting the ‘Online Play Unavailable’. Our internal team is hard at work with the server providers to come to a solution.

We believe we are on the right path to finding a solution and will keep you all updated.

UPDATE - Patch is Live!

Hello there everyone!

In order to launch 0.9 and migrate over backend services we have taken down both the Game and Website Login Portals. These services will be back online with the release at 11:00 AM CT.

If you are receiving a LE-24 error, rest assure that you will be able to play Last Epoch as soon the servers up as well.

We apologize for the inconvenience of the earlier than expected downtime but are looking forward to seeing and playing Last Epoch with you all online together soon!

Hi!

Through our back-end, we are only able to issue refunds using the same purchasing method that was used. We, being EHG, do not not have any other details besides the email you provide us. No credit card information, address, name, etc.

I will work with our support team first thing in the morning to figure out an alternative method to get your refund to you.

  • Your digital items have been delivered
  • Your physical items have been shipped
  • We have also issued a full refund back in May in response to your previous customer support posts. The receipt verifies this and would be happy to share it with you so you can take it to your payment processor should you have any further questions.

Again, I am truly sorry about the delay in physical item shipping. That is on us.

Our records show that we issued a refund on May 17th at 9:02 AM Central which is why your previous thread was marked as solved. We are constantly chipping away at the ‘make it perform well’ task each patch, including this one. We are also actively hiring full-time developers and artists who’s primary goal will be performance. We recognize that it is one of the most discussed aspects of the game and are treating it with equal attention.

We are still looking into the known bug of ‘stuck at entering Eterra’ aka ‘infinite spinning portal’. In the meantime, we have a temporary fix that will give you a LE-24 error which we can address right away. To do so, please submit a ticket to https://support.lastepoch.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and we will respond as quickly as we can. This is a manual process and due to the holidays it might not be an immediate response. The goal is to get you all into Last Epoch as fast as possible while we come up with a better solution.
