The LSTAR doesn't have a magazine, the ammo available to it is the energy ammo you have in your inventory. Because of this, there isn't really a great solution here I don't think. If we gave you 30 free energy ammo when you picked it up, people would just pick it up and drop it repeatedly for free ammo. If you could only get the ammo once, people would just pick up lstars and then drop them, and you'd magically have some lstars that gave ammo and some that didnt. And what about the case where your inventory is full, or can only fit 10 more energy rounds? There's lots of really weird hard to communicate edge cases that would be confusing for most players.

We're working on it! It's a surprisingly tricky bug for what it is. If you do a short sprint or weapon swap (or anything to cancel your current idle animation) you can then use consumables.

We're working on this one don't worry! It's thorny because it's due to some low level technical details with the Sentinel, but we're on it! For now, the best workaround is to swap weapons and back, sorry :(

I made a comment on a daily thread around season 5 launch, and I still get flaming direct messages and DMs angry about pathfinder daily. I don't even work on Legends!

EDIT: thanks for the kind words! I meant this comment to be lighthearted, I think it didn't come across too well for that sorry. I love you guys! I've worked on other large games and honestly the Apex community isn't super toxic imo compared to many others. People get excited and passionate and there's occasional jerks but y'all are great <3 :)

These changes always take a bit of time to sink in. Recoil was the main buff the Havoc got in S4, and everyone was complaining that it wasn't enough and the havoc sucked for quite a while before they realized it was good! I'm definitely keeping my closest eye on the Havoc, but we have to give these things a little bit of time to settle. The added recoil to the first couple of shots should cause the recoil to bounce off of the target right as the burst begins, and the shooter will have to re-acquire. This hopefully gives the receiving player an extra shot or two of reaction time before they start getting fully lasered, which I think actually could be pretty impactful. Definitely gonna keep a close watch.

No, sorry! No halfway charges -- it requires that you have 2 available to begin the charge.

We missed something in these patch notes sorry! The Sentinel now requires 2 shield cells to use the charge ability, instead of 1 shield battery.

Some designers are more artistically inclined than others, some even come from a professional art background! I do a tiny bit of 3d art stuff, but I'm not very good. My ideas are usually more about gameplay and game rules. I don't push the visuals too much because I trust in our amazing art teams to do that much better than I ever could!

It's not really a bug, although it is inconsistent with other ARs. I would like the Scout to be in a "marksman weapon" classification or something, but then it'd be the only one and that's not really great, so for now it'll just have some inconsistencies with typical AR stats. The scout is still supposed to have some tradeoffs considering its long range, and it it really didn't need a buff to be stronger in gunfights, so we didn't update it to have faster ADS movespeed. Intentional, but admittedly inconsistent. Sorry!
