Hey all. A Bungie Name change token is now available to all players once again. Having seen many players mess up their name over the years, here's what we recommend that players NOT try to use due to display issues.

No, this isn't to tell players to stop using (Adept). That's your choice.

By display issues, we mean that any non-supported languages or characters won't display like you think they will and instead will appear as random code.

Please keep in mind that the following are NOT recommended for the above reasons:

• Blank characters
• Unicode characters outside game-supported languages
• Emojis
• Punctuation outside game-supported languages

Yes, we've been investigating that issue for a while. It's currently scheduled to get fixed this season but I'm not sure of the exact timeline.

That issue will be fixed in January, so post-Dawning. The fix will be retroactive so anyone who should have earned that triumph will earn it in January.

Unfortunately, that issue is still being investigated.

Destiny 2's text-chat filters have been updated with Update 7.3.0.1.

1. To minimize unintended behavior, this will be the first step of a multiphase rollout. We will continually audit the filter’s performance and update its rules.
2. Players can still toggle “Allow Profanity” on and off through the in-game social settings. However, in the initial rollout, some of these settings may be overridden by the new filters. This means some players may temporarily see terms that were previously hidden by their personal settings. We are working to resolve this in a future phase.
3. The system will prioritize the 13 languages/dialects officially supported by Destiny 2. Players chatting in non-supported languages may experience the system filtering out words that do not violate the Code of Conduct. We’re working on an FAQ with details about this and related questions.
