It's something we've talked about internally for a long time and something that both myself and u/ccp_peligro have advocated for :)
There's a lot of gaming companies that do this, it was first kicked off by Wargaming on WoT if I remember correctly.
I remember a few months back when this happened to me - ironically I was playing from the office and the internet went down here.
I forgot to bookmark and lost a ‘Magpie’ MTU.
I’m sh*te at scanning so I had to spend like 30 minutes scanning it down…
Nah fam CCP should make AT into 5 man proper moba with small wormholes as the forest and and plexes as 3 lanes with ships all starting with t1 mods
Add wh minibosses and frigates/destroyers/cruisers as minions with good all around resist
Honestly EVE could have a very modest moba mode/tournament
I always wanted to see a 9 lane 3D moba mode for Valkyrie with rogue drones as lane minions and sentry guns/npcs as merc camps/ jungle monsters haha
Honestly though, I think it'd have been way too complicated :P
It would appear the individual in question has been taken care of for now.

Tranquility is currently in the process of being taken offline for an unscheduled reboot due to a database issue. More information as soon as we have it!
We’re currently in the process of bringing Tranquility offline and checking the cluster for issues. Apologies for the disruption. No ETA for restart at this stage.
Tranquility is now online in VIP mode while we check the cluster over and make sure that the database is performing correctly.
The cluster is now back online and accepting connections. Spaceship shenanigans are once again a go!

EVE is always gonna be here when you want to log in and play - always remember that.
True that it's persistent and a bit of a rat race, but if there's anything I've learned in 17 years of being part of the community - don't lose sleep over it.
Make sure that you take care of yourself and get an adequate amount of rest. Make sure you're staying well fed and are tending to those around you too.
Don't stress, so long as you've got a skill training, you're not losing out.
EVE is about the long game, not rushing to get things done.
Enjoy your time in New Eden - sounds like you're having a blast already, but remember to take it in moderation, and take good care of yourself <3

All player presentations are slotted finalized, just waiting on confirmation from EVE North that they've all accepted.
CCP presentations are all confirmed too, just waiting on meeting with a couple of the presenters on Tuesday to finalize things as Monday is a national holiday in Iceland.
Megablog will be drafted Monday/Tuesday, and most likely released late Tuesday early Wednesday :)

Right now this is work in progress but something that might become visible for a few of you on Singularity from today.
Please just close down the pop-up if you accidentally get it, and do not try and claim the offer.

I have pretty strong opinions on the direction of EVE and what I'd love to see, but it's not my department and I wouldn't want to create any false expectations or anything - wearing the CCP tag means your words are often taken as gospel rather than opinion.
That said, there's some super cool suggestions here, and quite a few that I agree with personally!
