Greetings MAC pilots o7,
We have a new monthly patch on our hands which went live today, 8 February. Please use this thread for reporting and tracking of any issues found in this version of EVE Online.
Greetings Capsuleers,
A new monthly deployment has arrived (20.02).
Please use our feedback threads to discuss the changes going live on Tranquility for the next month and you can keep an eye out for the Known Issues to see what our teams have already identified and are working on solving.
Hello everyone,
We are saying goodbye to an old friend that is the EveSkillboard which has kindly served us for many years in the Bazaar and in other places. It is unfortunately, being discontinued and is no longer supported as well as it’s service has been disabled.
Not to fear, we are fortunate enough to have it’s replacement which will now help us in all our Bazaar needs and for our general use in all things skills related.
Please welcome Skillboard.Evie
Cheers to our gracious developer of this service ...

The latest Community Beat is out!
CCP Swift is going to be sad if I don’t add that the the Community Beat comes to you from us here at the EVE Online Community Team to shine a spotlight on things that are going on in the EVE Online Community - both in-game and out. Our aim is to help you discover new parts of the community that you may not have been aware of before.
I know a lot of you were asking for updates on the Japanese 2v2 tournament. We’ll try to add the entire retro once that concludes but the second part of it takes place this weekend on Thunderdome.
Hope you enjoy.

2021 is certainly not “years ago”, even though it might feel like it due to circumstances.
Your absolutely right. I didn’t remember that when writing out my reply and I should have mentioned that. I was more referring to us locking official threads but your point still stands.
Not that we’re considering introducing it again but the mechanic is a timer set to an arbitrary point in the future until it expires so that’s strange if that thread is still in slow mode. I’ll have to check out what’s causing that, thanks for the heads up!
Well, since you asked, there was a period of time when CCP would start off a thread in ‘slow mode’ which was really annoying and I have seen the offical forumthreads for patch notes getting locked.
The best way to talk about things you like / don’t like is to post it in the most recent General Feedback thread or a Devblog thread, like ...
Read moreFlagging a post or a topic, regardless of how many times doesn’t mean we’ll automatically do something about it. It just means we’ll take a look at it.
As for players using multiple accounts to try to scheme threads or posts being locked or removed, that’s something I’ve suspected on a few occasions but when checked has never been the case, at least not in the use of alts. That doesn’t mean it’s never happened in the past but I’ve never seen it.
In regard to locking the topic because the replies are all super bad. This is something that’s of course not supposed to happen under normal circumstances and is only ever done if the post is beyond repair and we would have to delete almost every comment in a thread.
This is a dilemma and usually only ever happens when something blows up before we can step in. We of course try as much as possible to allow discourse, especially when it’s directed at CCP but sometimes it’s just not a good thing to remove almost every comme...
Read moreQuick update on the fix for Ice sites. I know you have all been very patient with this one and I understand it’s taking a while now.
It’s still in progress and we’re actively working on getting this one fixed as soon as possible. However, it will most likely not make it into tomorrows patch.
I will continue to update on this until it’s resolved in the new known issues thread that comes with tomorrows patch.
As I previously mentioned above, the fix for the Mutated Drone Orbit Velocity will be in tomorrows patch.
Yeah sorry not mentioning the Ice guys, I’m going through all of your replies and the issues one at a time. Please don’t feel ignored if I don’t mention it specifically right away but I prefer letting you know once I’m actively looking into something so that your aware of it.
Most of the time they are either already working on it or it’s ready to go out and I just haven’t checked that particular issue yet.
That being said, I’m looking at the Ice belts.
Yes there is an issue with the Mutated Drones and their orbit velocity.
That and the Porpoise Drone Mining yield should be fixed next weekly deployment ( 11 January)
Apologies for the late reply on the Porpoise.
We have identified what’s wrong and we’re working on a solve. Thanks for letting us know and checking up on it here in the thread.
I’ve added it to the known issues at the top:
You should have added your disclaimer to this post.
Disclaimer: The cryptocurrency has NO real money value and is purely simulated (no real cryptocurrency and no real blockchain)
Locking thread.
I’m looking in to the reports of the 50% Mining Drone Yield trait of the Purpose not working.
The last remaining ore/ice/gas anomalies which were not re-spawning correctly should most if not all as of downtime today respawn. It’s possible that the very last ones won’t until after DT tomorrow.
There were no changes made to any of the ship bonuses for the Porpoise. I’m looking at it and I’m not seeing anything that would indicate a change to the d...

God so confusing to keep having to look on top … is this old or new number?
The values for New and Old for the Capital Industrial cores have now been swapped in their tables in the patch notes so that they do not cause any confusion.
There were a few things missing in the patch notes, namely the Covetor and the Capital Industrial Core which have now been added, among a few numbers which have now been also fixed.
Edit: I can see how “among a few numbers” is not a good way to put it and I don’t want you to scan the entire patch notes again.
The Mining Crystal table was changed and the Hulk yield bonus was changed.
Hello everyone,
