I am hoping to use one of the upcoming streams to talk more about Wasteland Patrols. Just need to figure out when we can do that.

So, OK I figured it out, but please be aware that the way you have implemented it is definitely NOT the way almost all PS5 users are going to do it, and will find my same issue.

I downloaded the PS5 version and launched it straight away, I didn’t launch the PS4 version to “migrate”, why would I? Then upon realising it didn’t migrate anything, I had to delete the PS5 saves (console and cloud, and after re-enable auto sync for it). Then launch PS4 and trigger migration from there, and then launch PS5 and it worked.

The above is VERY convoluted for PS5 users, and at the very least should shout out a warning about it if you launch the PS5 version with a fresh save.

I asked if we could post instructions to help the process.

I'm concerned that they are calling the black panther DLC an expansion... They said all DLC will be free but they never said Expansions are free.

The Wakanda expansion will be free :)

The save migration works for me now, but every time I try to load in to any gameplay mode the game just crashes on PS5 (in the PS5 version of the game). I was able to walk around in Avengers Initiative as Captain America for a bit, so I waited for all of the trophies to pop, switched to Clint, and then went to the main menu to try the new story mode.

Now, the game crashes whenever I try to load ANY play mode. Avengers Initiative, the new Hawkeye level or anything else. I'm reinstalling the PS4 version since I can't load an old backup save on the PS5 version. Very frustrating, do you know any workarounds?

Reporting it and asking.

It would help if the migration process actually worked or was at least warned in advanced that we should look out for it.

It should be working fine now, can you try again please?

If you delete the Ps5 save first, the ps4 save migration works!

It should just work normally now

Will do:)

We are investigating reports of issues with the save transfers, as mentioned in this thread please do not delete your PS4 versions before completing the migration process successfully..

Hopefully you can understand my frustration as much as I can understand yours. I'm not a fan of having to be so outspoken and relentless. But you have to understand that after the companies inclusivity press the lack of options (especially at this point) is a massive oversight.

I understand, that is why i am here of my own volition. I do need to confirm what is and isn't in the works though.

This makes it sound like you were considering accessibility options 5 months ago and something else took priority? You are now asking to circle back which tells me there is nothing in the works. We are all well aware the game hasn't launched as planned but shouldn't opening the game to more people take precedent over most things if not everything? I'm trying not to get frustrated here but it feels like I'm only getting a response now and you are only CONSIDERING circling back because of the bad optics and the negative reaction. I appreciate you are just doing your job but this is a pretty messed up situation. Genuinely why weren't they in the game at launch? Were they sacrificed for something more important so you could hit your release date?

When i said circle back i meant in terms of communication. The communication i am trying to get to you is what's in the works and what isn't. I don't have all those answers yet. You are asking fair questions i just don't have a full answer for you at the moment.

Surely that means as you had "news soon" 5 months ago that it has in fact been validated internally or something you know personally? So by that logic I can expect them soon right? Or is this just corporate talk trying to cover the company because they've been called out publicly for discrimination against people with disabilities?

One of the things that happens frequently in video games is called waterfalling. Basically if we can afford to make only 1 thing but we have 2 things we wanted to do, one of those things moves out to the next round of content creation. Sometimes a feature can be moved for quite a while if other things take precedence. Unless we outright scope something out or cancel a feature it typically lives in our planning. Depending on when i or anyone else talks about it, its release could have changed. We are trying to communicate only on things that are coming out in a known patch because otherwise all i have to say is soon and someone will make a delightful meme. All of that said i can promise you we have no bias against anyone, i am asking internally for us to circle back on accessibility and we do have some improvements coming but we also promised a lot more so its important to me we communicate on those.

*edited out a little grammar mistake*

Tickets are good or you can post here with as much information as possible, helps us track these down. Ill check to see if we have a bug like that solved internally.

I honestly have no idea what that tracker thing is but ill give the engineers the heads up.

half a year of asking questions and not getting answers... we here are fed up with it... are you? where are you sitting on this u/CD_PhilT please tell me how you feel working with a company that ignores your questions for 6 months... or are you part of the problem? I wrote this game off a couple months ago so as a customer you've lost me completely on this game and any game cd touches. But I stick around because I want answers and to see someone held accountable for all the lies that have been pushed down our throats.

My stance is that i engage with you guys as much as possible. The information i get is either things i personally know because of my role or things i manage to get validated internally. Its not always easy to get answers because sometimes we might be figuring out If or when we are releasing something. Its pretty fair to say that accuracy in information is something that is very important, to all of us really. So i don't always get to speak about everything, it makes sense though. There's really no malice here, i go to several meetings where the community team is pushing constantly to give you guys updates. Sometimes we move too quick (See the XP blog) and things don't come out the right way. So in some instances, we take our time to get our facts right and make sure that you have context. I wish we would have taken more time to explain how that exp adjustment ties into a revamp of the progression system, i wish we could have explained why it matters for upcoming content as well but...

I know accessibility is an important topic for you and for us. I haven't replied to the other threads because i have been asking questions internally. I will do my best to give you guys an update on what's coming and what the state of accessibility is at the moment.

There is a fix for this coming in the next patch.

We have a few fixes for this issue internally, it will be part of an upcoming content patch. I will see if we can be clearer about when that fix is going in.

Comment

The fix for this issue is part of an upcoming patch, we really could have communicated that better. So the short answer is, its fixed internally but you will get that fix when that patch is released. I asked if we could communicate when that's happening.

The elevator banter is actually some of my favorite dialogue in the game. I’ve see many posts here agree. I’d love an option to let them continue as the characters exit the elevator.

I talked about this a bit on our last stream but its a feature i would love to get. What happens is that when you leave the elevator the next objective starts which triggers mission VO automatically and it has a higher priority than elevator banter. It's a bit tricky to find a way for these things to co-exist. We are investigating whats possible however.

We aren't cutitng elevator conversations. Mission conversations will always play to completion but fast load times will likely cut off idle banter.
