During the second week of Trial of the Ancestors, our community on Twitch has achieved so much! From Mirror drops to builds that finish maps faster than you could read this! We've gathered a few highlights in today's {LINK REMOVED}news post.

We recently attended Gamescom and PAX West, bringing over a handful of developers and of course, the Path of Exile 2 demo. Here are some photos of our booths from that trip!

We've just released the Ancestor Mystery Box, a new mystery box without duplicate microtransactions! Each of the microtransactions in this mystery box has visual behaviour that interacts with your gameplay. Check out the contents of the box in the video below!


There are 20 microtransactions that you can find in the Ancestor Mystery Box. Each of these microtransactions has a varying number of thematic variations, and you'll never receive a duplicate copy of a variation that you have already opened. For example, if you open the Starfall Harbinger Portal Effect variant of the Harbinger Portal Effect, you may later receive the Void Emperor variant, but you'll never get a duplicate Starfall one. Sometime this week, we're planning to release the 3.22.1 patch on PC. It adds a forfeit button for stalemate situations and a revive progress indicator in the Trial of the Ancestors, as well as balance changes to many Warriors and some Field Items. We've also fixed a number of bugs, and have made a change that decreases the loading screen time of town areas.

Please note that these are still subject to change prior to the patch's deployment. The 3.22.1 update on consoles will be deployed as soon as possible after its release on PC.

• Added a forfeit match button that can be used when your Ancestral Totem has been banished in stalemate situations.
  
• Added an indicator above player characters that displays your revive progress when you have been killed in a match.

Need some inspiration? Check out the Wolf Howl Warcry Effect, paired together with the Wild Gold Armour Set, Wild Gold Cougar Helmet, Wild Weapon and Hunter Back Attachment! The Wild Gold Armour Set can be obtained by combining two of the same pieces of the Wild Armour Set. For instance, combining two Wild Cougar Helmets will result in a Wild Gold Cougar Helmet.
