We now have a good grasp on final capacity numbers for our ExileCon event in July, so we're able to make the last small wave of ExileCon tickets available for purchase at the end of this week. These are regular and balcony ExileCon tickets, as the VIP and Ultra VIP tickets are completely sold out.

The remaining regular tickets will be available for purchase at 2pm on Thursday 27th of April. (You will need to be logged in to view the local time).

This weekend, we're hosting a sale on a huge selection of Skill Effects! This sale includes every Skill Effect in the store except the new ones which were released since the launch of Crucible, which brings the count to over 400 discounted effects! At {LINK REMOVED}ExileCon in July, we will be hosting a competitive Path of Exile event live on the main stage. This event will be the culmination of a series of four qualifier events where Path of Exile's best racers will compete for a spot in the finale.

In each of these events, players will compete to be the first to kill Kitava in Act 5 in a Standard Solo Self-Found fixed seed environment. While this is not a Hardcore Event, players will incur a penalty upon death where they will not be able to move until a one-minute period has lapsed.

New Unique Items
Two of the newly discovered unique items interact with Crucible Passive Skill Trees in special ways.



The Redblade has a two handed sword Crucible Passive Skill Tree, allowing for much more powerful skills than what can usually be obtained on a one handed sword.

The Geomantic Gyre has only one socket but its Crucible Passive Skill Tree only has high level Support Passive Skills, allowing for up to 5 level 30 supports!

Path of Exile: Crucible launches soon! In this news post, we've gathered all the information you need to know about what happens on launch day and how to start downloading early.

The realm goes down and patching begins at: 10am April 7th PDT
The servers go live at: 1pm April 7th PDT

If you are unsure, please refer to the countdown on the front page. Three hours before the end of the countdown, the realm will go down and patching will begin shortly after. When the countdown ends, the servers will be live and you'll be able to join the Crucible League!

The patch size for the update will be around 8.5GB on the standalone client and 8.5GB on Steam.

To celebrate the launch of Crucible, we're hosting a Boss Kill Event where Path of Exile players can compete to kill the Uber Eater of Worlds and Searing Exarch in Crucible Ruthless Hardcore Solo Self-found mode.

In the upcoming Crucible League, you'll be able to earn pieces of the exclusive Chaosborn Armour Set by completing 40 new challenges. At 4, 6, 8 and 10 challenges, you'll receive the Chaosborn Boots, Gloves, Helmet and Body Armour respectively.

In Ruthless, you will receive the full Chaosborn Armour Set at 2 challenges, and each challenge completed after that will upgrade pieces of the set with the entire set fully upgraded once 8 challenges are completed.

Additional tiers of this armour set are unlocked as you complete more challenges in the Crucible League. The final tier of the Chaosborn Armour Set includes both Tiers 4 and 5 when unlocked. Both tiers are the same visually, but Tier 5 has the armour set's voice lines enabled and Tier 4 has them disabled. You can change the armour set's tiers in the "Cosmetics" tab in your inventory (bound to 'K' by default). You must have the tier unlocked to be able to set it to that tier. In the Crucible expansion, we've introduced several new support and Vaal gems and made some changes to existing ones. As usual, we've prepared the gem data at level 20 with 20% quality for all new and changed gems to help you theorycraft your builds for the upcoming launch.
