@GabrielSyler33 Thank you and yes, a big part of why this update has taken longer than any other is because it's going from single player to multiplayer. Stardew's code has major changes to make that work, and there's also technical specifics of the consoles that can make it very complicated

@JoshWeatherfo11 I'm doing okay, but I have been very frustrated & unhappy about this console situation and I am really, really looking forward to seeing this update go out and to move past this phase. But there are good things in the future to be hopeful about, which is a comfort

Heard from the porting company, there are still technical issues with the console updates. They give an estimate that it will be ready within a couple weeks but I can't personally guarantee that. All I can say is that I'm truly sorry this is taking so long

@ask_raditya 1.4 is coming but it won't come out before the 1.3 console MP update

Just heard back about the XBOX/PS4 MP update. There are further technical issues that are being resolved. I can't say definitively when it will be ready. As soon as I know anything about a concrete release date I will let you know immediately. Thanks again for your patience

Heard from the porting team today... seems the Xbox/PS4 multiplayer update won't be out this week. I'll keep you updated as soon as I know anything further. Thanks for your patience everyone

@haoco_tang Yes, this update is on its way as well. It's also in the same certification cycle as the multiplayer updates for xbox and ps4 but it could potentially come out at any time.

@seculardracula The port should be a lot less tricky, as 1.3 -> 1.4 doesn't fundamentally change the underlying code for stardew valley like 1.2 -> 1.3 did. So I am counting on a much smaller gap between releases. Also, all consoles will get the update simultaneously rather than switch first

The free 1.4 content update for Stardew Valley is nearly finished... after the XBOX/PS4 multiplayer updates are out I will reveal more about it!

Also... A performance issue in the PS VITA version was discovered and an update that should address the issue is in the works

Update on the console MP: the update was put back into certification late last week after failing certain MP-specific platform requirements, like needing a way to access player profiles from in-game. I am praying that it passes this time which could mean a release later this week
