SB Enduring Confrontation missions and RB random battles with EC mission logic AI anti-aircraft gun presets have been changed for convoys and the Ground Battle event, where two groups of AI units fight with each other. The changes were made to lower AA calibres where possible and therefore the general setups are as follows:

• BR 1.0-2.0: calibre 7.92mm
  
• BR 2.3-3.3: calibre 12.7mm
  
• BR 3.7-4.7: calibre 20mm
  
• BR 5.0-6.3: calibre 40mm
  
• BR 6.7-7.7: calibre 30mm, autoguns
  
• BR 8+: calibre 30mm, autoguns, radars.

The 41.M Turan II was a further developed variant of a Hungarian medium tank, constructed on the basis of a Czechoslovakian prototype design during the early 1940s. Defined by well-rounded combat characteristics, the Turán II will become available as one of the main prizes awaiting players in the upcoming War Thunder battle pass!

The M64 is a Chinese light tank developed during the mid 1970s by combining the hull of the M42 Duster SPAAG with the turret of previously decommissioned M18 Hellcat tank destroyers. The heavily armed yet nimble M64 will become available as one of the main prizes awaiting players in the upcoming War Thunder battle pass!

• Display of some objects (for example bushes and trees) has been improved when observed through a ground vehicle sight by graphic settings “max” and “movie”.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

A new set of decals for rarity hunters! Until February 10th, earn in battle, or purchase rare decals for War Thunder gaming nations!
You can find these decals in the “Weeks latest” section in the customization tab, after which they will be available to their owners in the thematic sections of vehicle customization.

Tasks can be completed in vehicles of rank II-VII.

• The requirements for the decals may be checked in the “Weeks latest” section in vehicle customization or in the Achievements → Decals → Weeks latest.
  
• Tasks can be completed in random battles and events, except “Enduring Confrontation” and “Assault” missions.

On January 14th, 1950, the prototype SI (I-330) aircraft, soon after named the MiG-17, took her maiden flight. Even then the aircraft showed better flight characteristics than its predecessor, the MiG-15bis jet fighter. The MiG-17 was in service with many armed forces and was used in intense combat becoming the principal for Chinese, Polish, and Czechoslovakian licensed copies.

Fixing a bug in the displaying of contacts
This issue might occur when the resolution of the game doesn’t match the physical resolution of your monitor. Air targets, in this case, could behave incorrectly and disappear even at a relatively close distance.
We investigated the reason for this bug which was caused by the complex system of rendering contacts and have now fixed it. Now enemies will not hide from you (and you from them).

In January 1945, the Vistula-Oder offensive by the Soviet army began to liberate the western part of Poland and provide a further advance by troops into German territory. The operation became perhaps the most intensive strategic offensive operation in the history of modern Europe. Possessing total air superiority and a significant advantage in manpower and armored vehicles, the troops of the Red Army, as well as the Polish formations that came under the command of the USSR, threw back the Wehrmacht forces with powerful blows beyond the border of Germany. Active aircraft and air defense unit supply from the USSR created significant difficulties for the US Air Forces during the Vietnam War. The appearance in the skies of the latest Soviet MiG-21 fighters was a key factor in launching an active operation to eliminate this threat.

During operation “Bolo”, the F-4 Phantom II was demonstrating normal strike aircraft behavior, luring into the sky and destroying more than seven MiG-21’s of the North Vietnamese Air Force without casualties to the US aircraft.
