Well played Jhin. Well played.

This deserves a prize. Let me know your in-game name and tag (same info as you would use to add someone as a friend in game, not any login info) - or that of a friend that plays - and I’ll send 400 coins

Don't get me wrong, making the great beyond a celestial dragon is a great idea from a UI perspective, and is 100% the correct call, but I will miss that lovely bit of text that says "I am a dragon"

It was too funny when azir said “I am a bird”.

I wanted a voice line that had xerath growl “birds aren’t real”.

Creative vetoed my proposal to make “not von yip” a subtype ;)

Fun fact - beguiling cobra was briefly called replicobra when I designed it. Saner heads prevailed. :)

Also DAN I have started trying the BETA CHALLENGES thing and I have to say I really enjoy it. You did a fantastic job - I'm using champs I haven't used at all before and I'm really enjoying thinking about which champ works best vs which buffs the enemy has

That’s awesome, glad to hear it :)

If we hadn't been friends for a decade now, I would not forgive this.

Black eagles should absolutely be the first route everyone plays and I luckily chose that on a whim. The plot twist is so powerful if you go that route first and the other routes spoil it without anywhere close to the same impact.

It’s not our fault the base cards are so pretty.

Well it kinda is but not MY fault. I’m not one of our talented artists. ;)

So did mine but for other reasons.

It was taking longer than intended. That’s why we increased the rewards dramatically for the quests recently to help people finish it out. It should be progressing at a much faster rate now than previously.

It's actually pretty simple, just confusing in presentation.

The Path of Champions cares about:
1. Legend Points (your path-wide XP to unlock stuff, kind of like your 'account level')
2. Fragments for Starring Up champions
3. Relics to equip to champions
4. Levelling up champions by playing with them (upgrades their deck and unlocks better relic slots)

That's really it. You can level up champions by playing any mission with them, more difficult gives more XP. Fragments, Relics, and Legend Points come from completing quests or adventures for the first time (not repeated grinding).

Doing your "Chapter Quests", Daily & Weekly Quests, and making sure you complete each adventure's requirements (early ones only need you to beat them once with a single champion, but later ones require beating them with multiple champions - often of specific regions, as described int he adventure details when you tap the adventure) will pretty much handle eve...

Btw, it's not in the monthly challenge because there's a different reason you can't reroll infinitely.

It’s a hard fight. It’s worth drafting deck upgrades and powers entirely around ways to beat irellia. Normally you can overpower enemies in path but in this case it’s hard to outdo her offense. Instead you focus on upgrades that can stop her, and stun isnt enough (it usually is for enemies with one big threat). Take fast/burst removal heavily so they can’t stick irellia or another big unit, ways to mitigate the pain of blade dance, etc.
