It seems like you are resetting the password on the wrong EA account. In order to get back into the game, you will have to reset the password on the EA account that is linked to your PlayStation. Please keep in mind that the credentials of your PlayStation account and EA account can be different. If you are having difficulties locating the correct EA account, please try and contact customer support. They might be able to assist with this.

If you are not seeing a linked PlayStation in the "Connection" tab, but you are still getting a reset password message, that means that your PlayStation is linked to a different EA account. PlayStation's account could have been linked to another EA account if you ever played any of the EA games on that PlayStation account. If you are having difficulties locating the correct EA account, please try and contact customer support.

Technically it's possible to link your PSN and Steam to the same EA account, but in the situation described, it looks like your PlayStation is linked to a different EA account and in order to get access to it, you will have to reset the password on the EA account that is linked to your PlayStation. If you are having difficulties finding that EA account, please contact customer support, they might be able to assist with locating the correct account.
