Is this what this thread is for? To check if the Missouri card in the deck of Random Bundles is weighted differently than the others?

All cards are weighted equally in this deck, so your drop chance is also disclosed. However, i get that you might not take my word for it, so I'll contribute with my own drop:

#13

I did not have Missouri on my NA account.

Hi guys.

The bug is with mission chains that count total XP. Because of that, we will change it to count baseXP instead and put it back tomorrow morning (AUG 27th, central time). It will have lower requirements both for how much baseXP you have to score for each mission and you will require 3 fewer missions to score the supercontainer (as in - this first day will not be counted). We'll also give all participants another day of WoWS Premium Time, in addition to the 2 days that came with the original mission.

Players who already participated/claimed the missions will not have to claim again - the current missions will just stay until tomorrow and change to the new ones, and 1 day of PA will be added.

We'll also put the article back tomorrow morning, so that players who have not claimed/participated yet can do so.

Please look out for the new Smooth Supply missions and the article tomorrow and sorry for this bug.

Also, if anyone has a screenshot where the mission completed correctly, please share that in this thread. It would help make sure we isolate the problem and implement the right solution to fix it.

Thanks.

Thanks for reporting this, guys. We unfortunately did find a bug in the logic for counting mission chains that target XP.

Our dev team is working on fixing it. We will inform you here later today on what will be done with it.

Sorry for this guys.

Some interesting comments were posted, so I'll do my best to respond. Thank you for being civil, guys.

This is very important to understand, but also very obviously not what people want to hear. The reality is that even if all 60k active players (on NA only) provided their feedback to us, we would have to pick and choose what to act on, because there are only a few hundred of us in the Ships team and most are busy with jobs that are not QA and not balance. We need to look at feedback (or information flow in general) in categories to make it manageable.

We do still read qualitative feedback, because sometimes it allows us to apply additional context to a data trend that we see. Unfortunately this doesn't work the other way around - we can't extrapolate trends from a small amount of qualitative statements, because each such statement may be related to any number of trends, which might be different for any player making the statement....

Since it doesn't matter what i say and any communications from my side that do not fit into your demand are discarded as untrue, then why do you guys tag me in this?

I'm trying to give you guys some understanding of how this game still is and still will be operating in the next few years, despite the forums saying its dying since release (which it is not). However, there is a method to all this madness that we need to follow. Democracy is not part of that method and there are many examples of games that tried that with their core design and died.

We do. There is actually a survey that appears to a random sample of the audience after a a battle and asks exactly that.

Aside from the fact that a lot of people click it away, because they can't be bothered with giving us data (not surprising though - we all know it and we all do it), you can probably guess what the correlation is. The people who lost say that the experience was b...

Since I work at WG, you have shared this feedback with WG.

However, please understand that the current 59 replies constitute only an extremely tiny fraction of the roughly 60000 players who were sailing on the NA server yesterday. We can't make objective decisions about the game based on this.

@LittleWhiteMouse @Chobittsu
You should not have been involved in this way not because we don’t think you can contribute valuable input, but simply because approval for that level of involvement was not given, and most of your efforts were not effectively represented internally. The team was working on the ship normally for months, unaware of the degree of your dedication and commitment to the project.
It’s clear that the NA publishing team failed alongside Gneisenau. We are all deeply sorry for it and this is what we wanted our apologies to reflect – his for the expectations he created and mine for how my team treated you at the end of it all.
I know that “sorry” is just a word and doesn’t make it right. We would like to try though and would like to implement the permanent camouflage inspired by HMCS Sackville and the commemorative flag based on your designs. These would be unlockable for the HMCS Yukon for Community Tokens and, of course, available for you ...

In addition, it is important to put the above statement in the context of some of our processes. While we often reach out for feedback on many aspects to our VIP groups like CCs, Supertesters or Mod Makers, the involvement of community members into the design process of the game follows a process and requires approval. The many camouflage contests we have run in the past are examples of when this process is followed correctly. This case is an example when it was not. Chobittsu and AprilWhiteMouse should not have been approached with the purpose of designing a ship, because approval for this aspect of the development process was not given and the development team was unaware of their involvement, other than in terms of feedback and suggestions on the visual side.

In the end of all of this we – the NA team – also failed to see what was wrong and why Mouse’s and Chobittsu’s reactions were so strong. We should have talked to them more, much sooner and pushed to understan...

Dear @LittleWhiteMouse, @Chobittsu,

Dear community,

While the investigation into this situation is still ongoing one thing is clear – we, to put it mildly, messed up. Please accept my sincerest apologies for how the NA Team – my team – mishandled the communications around this project.

We promised things that were not ours to promise in the first place, then failed to properly communicate about them with the rest of the team, both here in NA and globally. We created expectations, failed to deliver on them and then, after a change of staff responsible for this project, walked all over them nonchalantly.

We let you down and yet again betrayed what trust you put in us. I am aware how hard it will be to rebuild and regain that trust, but we will do our best to become the partners we need to be for you.

We will need more time to finish reviewing all communications relevant to this case and w...

I realize that this will go off on a slight tangent, but it's still intimately connected to playing (though mostly working on) World of Warships.

On September 15th i will have been working for the Wargaming group for 8.5 years and on September 17th World of Warships, on which I've worked as a producer since pre-alpha, will turn 5 years old (in post-release years). This seems like a very long time, but honestly it feels like March 2012 was just yesterday and in that time I've met many people who have managed to permanently reformat a part of who I am, both as an industry professional and as a person. Some of them don't work for the company anymore, while with some of them i often have to get into arguments (sometimes heated) over Ships stuff, but the relationships we've built together are stronger than that. I am blessed to be able to call them mentor, friend or even BFF.

I sincerely wish this experience for everyone - in the WoWS community as IRL.

Technically speaking, the CIS community team did forum contests before any other region, because they existed before any other region. However, that doesn't mean they forced, or even necessarily inspired, the other regional community teams to run them, because forum (and SM) contests are such a basic realization of community management strategy. It's not hard to come up with the idea to run a forum contest - it's very hard to run a truly innovative, interesting one that still fits within the limitations and goals we have and those are largely the same for all the regions.

So, while Hapa is right in saying he cannot take credit for running forum contests in general, he absolutely deserves credit for promoting them and making them interesting enough for you to participate in and play the game.

Like most other changes, she was raised back then for balance purposes, because she was too resilient to incoming damage and, as many other users have stated, the ship is fine in that respect. I'm just not sure why this is suddenly bothering you 4 years later.

Also, we don't know whether the Soviet directorate of the navy truly hated the Grand Old Lady back in the day. If you have any info on that please share! :)

Hi guys,

I've played Warspite since before she was first released and have racked up a few hundred battles in her over the years and on multiple servers. I've always done well in her, despite running the arguably potato-leaning full-secondary build :), and she's always been consistent in her performance within that tier range.

I'm not really sure what triggered OP's comments about the ship, but if its the fact that we blow her (class) up in a cinematic, then i can assure you that we are relatively unbiased there. We simply choose ships that are required by the storyboard or script, but in their absence we are absolutely happy to cinematically sink any one from a wide selection of recognizable ships - from the King of the Ocean, through US carriers and Japanese cruisers (launch trailer), US cruisers, US DDs, JP carriers and JP battleships (open beta trailer) and many more.

We also have a clearly forgotten trailer where a QE class is th...

I care and am all for civil discourse, but please don't make this one-sided. I don't have to be here and read all these aggravating comments aimed at me, the devs or the company in general, but i believe in educating people about the business of making games (as much as i am allowed to by my own non-disclosure agreement), because it is clear from many comments that people generally do not understand how it works. However, if I am required to wear white gloves and have my hands bound behind my back while a mob is verbally stoning me, then the community can keep its' etiquette. I don't want to take anything away from people or make them uncomfortable and will just not post anything anymore, leaving that to people who are more qualified. No hard feelings - after all, we've been here before many times over the years.

To remain consistent though, i will try to address the relevant points made. What I am trying to make plain (and which I've commented on multiple times alre...

That is a fair point, but it's not going to happen, or it would have already with some of the other "casual" content we had previously released and advertised (and that some in the community said is for kids). These stats are not pointless - they show what the target audience for the game is (middle-aged men) and neither anime, nor Transformers nor My Little Pony is likely to change that in any significant way, because the audiences of those IPs are also not kids (at least not where they overlap with ours).

We're sorry you don't like this one, but just look at this thread alone and all the comments from the people who care more about the fact that there is no Starscream in the first release. The simple fact is that there IS significant demand for this type of content in our audience and that the majority of our audience does not share this sentiment. As many people have already commented, if they don't care about this content they just switch it off and wait for the next release of tech tree ships and this is absolutely the right way to go about it.

We've done collaborations with Revell and Italeri for Tanks and with COBI for Tanks and Warships. If we find them useful we will do more of them, but it depends on the partner as much as on us.

Considering what i wrote above, why do you assume we haven't tried speaking with Bavaria Film, Jürgen Prochnow's agent, as well as Klaus Doldinger? BF has already sold the exclusive rights to Das Boot to another gamin...
