ST, changes to test ships

German cruiser Mainz, tier VIII:

Main battery reload time was reduced from 7.5 to 6 s.

Tests showed that Mainz's damage per minute was not high enough for a tier VIII cruiser.

American cruiser Puerto Rico, tier X:

Detectability range by sea reduced from 17.6 to 16.56 km;


Detectability range by air reduced from 11.86 to 11.16 km;


Detectability after firing main guns in smoke reduced from 14.27 to 13.15 km.

This change will help to increase the survivability of Puerto Rico in combat and will also bring the ship's visibility into line with her size.

Beyond that, I literally just pick 5 people randomly from each page and send out an invite. From those participating the only ones I recognize by name are CCs, Privateers, and maybe 10-20 prior participants. Majority of the list I have no connection to. So long as they didn't have any major ingame or forum infringements they were invited. Many of my closest friends didn't get selected because RNG said no.

Majority of the participants this time around are first time participants. With over 1400 applicants and only 300 accounts, yes - people are going to miss out, but claiming that it is rigged or pre-determined is just comical. P...

Under the logic you suggest those who already have the Tirpitz shouldn't be able to purchase the Tirpitz B, but alas you can because they are "different" ships (not talking about gameplay etc). I cannot mount a ARP Camo on my regular Myoko - because again - Different.

Your example regarding the Montana is just not the same, yes, you can own multiple perma-camos for ships, and its up to you to determine if you want to purchase additional perma camos. However, expecting a camo that is designated for one ship to work on another one... yeah. That doesn't work.

I apologise that you do not like the manner in which we have gone forward like this, but from the beginning these ships were designated as separate ships from their non-"b" variants.

It has been this way since the "B" ships began last year.

Part of the factor of their reduced price is that they are unable to mount the perma camos from the standard versions, thus a part of why were sold at a lower price.

This will be the same with the other "B" ships that will be released for 2019.

Correct, steam client is not compatible as it is linked to your steam account and by default cannot be changed.

That is simply not true. As I have told you personally, and many others in various threads. Minus Staff and those in community programs. Invites are random.

As others have already mentioned, service costs for ships increase as you go higher up in tiers. Furthermore, you need to do more at higher tiers for it to matter, for example, doing 50k DMG at T5 is considerably better than doing 50K at T10.

To help with credit expenditure at higher tiers, ensure you have economic flags and camos mounted as this will help. Ultimately however, playing better will improve your net credits at high tiers.

In regards to Mushashi and Alaska, both of these ships are premiums which as standard have a higher level of credit earning, you can see this in the ships modules tab under ship peculiarities:

As someone who played quite a few rounds yesterday, from my 8 or so games, this only occurred once for me.

Ultimately the players doing this are taking a risk themselves - instead of collecting their own filth, they are relying on the hope that they can kill you before you get through the portal.

Considering that they are not killing as many bots, they also have less consumables to engage you with. You have the ability to fire back on them if you so choose too.

Its a viable tactic for sure, and a consideration made when the mode was made. Every action has an opportunity cost attached to it, its whether its worth it to you or not.

We do not have plans currently to release the Alaska-B as a FXP ship.

The "B" ships are designed to be special ships for the Black Friday period. They usually come considerably discounted from their standard versions for this holiday.

While the ships preform in the same way as their non-"B" counterparts, they do not have the ability to mount the other perma-camos for the style of ship (For example, the Halloween Alaska skin cannot be mounted on the Alaska-B).

If you have the FXP available, and do not will to spend the $, I would stick to getting the version available in the tech tree.
