When resetting a line, you will automatically be given slots to accommodate your captains.

The captains will also remain specialised to the ships they came from.

If you are midway through a mission for a legendary module, you will not lose this progress.

As part of the main article detailing the RB we detailed a similar situation:

If, for example, a branch has parallel lines that reach Tier X, such as the Soviet destroyer branch, you can choose which of the lines to reset.

If you decide to reset the branch of Soviet destroyers starting from X Grozovoi, it will be reset to VII Minsk, then to II Storozhevoi, and then cruiser II Novik.


At the same time, you'll be able to reset the second branch from X Khabarovsk on the same principle, but in this case, bonuses will be received only by X Khabarovsk, IX Tashkent, and VIII Kiev.

So, if you reset your Worcester, it would reset that line down to T1, however you would keep: Pensacola, New Orleans, Baltimore, Buffalo and DM.

If you then reset your DM line, you would only receive bonuses on: Pensacola, New Orleans, Baltimore, Buffalo and DM.

Apologies, this was poor phrasing on me, and I will amend, you receive 10k when you unlock the research Bureau, not on resetting your first ship line. The first reset will give you abonus on the marks for 2x their value.

Since servers patch at different times, it would be unfair if NA for example could play tomorrow and EU couldn't due to patch. To keep it fair for everyone, around a patch, the Wednesday and Thursday sessions are passed until all servers are back online.

You will first receive 10k points for unlocking the RB and being able to reset your first line.

On that first line, you have a 2x multiplyer the tokens on the reset ship - for me this is the UK CAs:

For my first win in my Leander, I will receive 1000 Research Points.

So in total; I can receive 20k for my first line.

And consequential lines will only have one - for example my KM CAs:

From this second (and all additional resets for the season) I can gain an additional 10k points (or 8k for CV lines)

So:

Unlock RB: 10k
First line (BB/CA/DD): 20k
Second line (BB/CA/DD): 10k
Third line (BB/CA/DD): 10k
Fourth (BB/CA/DD): 10k

We've heard you loud and clear about concerns regarding uptiering, and as of update 0.8.7.0 we have added the following:

This will prevent the number of games where you will be uptiered to a much lower percentage (40% in the case of T8).

It will take 20 games to first calibrate before this comes into effect.

We encourage you to give it a go and let us know if you feel things are better with this system.
