I'll get this in front of our enforcement team.
u/FoxhoundFPS take a look please
We are investigating this issue and I will submit these players to the enforcement team.
I replied to you answer yesterday, can you send a note to the team on a fix?
We are investigating. Thank you!
Ah, you’re right. I forget how reactive camos have the challenges at first
All good!
Dude, the afterlife camo is in reserves.
There’s no requirements for it outside of dropping your cash or getting extremely lucky to get the camo specifically for the titan in a supply drop.
You can get the camo and still have to unwrap/unlock it.
I was told to get a camo of afterlife for an LMG on here. Got one for the Titan, and still unable to equip it.
Have you unlocked the camo on the Titan? Unlocked as in performed the necessary requirements for it.
/u/FoxhoundFPS The 2 that were cheating’s gamertags are RiiMMY and Soy Mochilero on xbox.
Can we please start getting them banned? And get this game breaking glitch fixed? Lobbies are rampant with weenies like this right now.
We are investigating/working on the cause of the issue last I checked. Will pass this thread along.
Just wanted to say that I read this. Thanks for embracing the feedback!
So if you're not able to respond to the criticism on behalf of Treyarch, who is?
This is effectively u/treyarch_official. That’s the point of our Reddit updates.
It’s been awhile Foxhound, looks like you’re doing a great job man. Hope all is well, keep up the good work!
Still grinding it out! If you’re in LA for E3, then we should maybe grab that beer. :P
Can you also clear up where people should send their comments/concerns about BO4 and/or the community? I think a large part in why you probably got a lot of the hate (in addition to people just being jerks) is because there isn't a specific place where people can voice their concerns and feel confident that it will reach at least someone at Treyarch/Activision.
And as a former social media manager as well, I feel your pain. It only gets easier though I promise!
We share that Reddit and Twitter are often the hot spots for feedback share. I can confirm though that our devs are definitely reading and watching more often than not.
There’s also the general disconnect across all of gaming that “listening means doing” or “changes have a deadline of tomorrow” that degrades conversations/expectations of what listening is.
Truth be told, the management part isn’t hard. I’ve got 10+ years of forums and about five years of everything else. I love when a solid round of publishing goes right.
Manager you say...y’all hiring? My social media marketing experience has only taken me so far in life haha.
Manager in the sense of managing the channels, not hiring. :P
Hey there! Quite a bit of speculation going on in here but wanted to clear something up. My title isn't "Treyarch Comms" as my bio might be interpreted as. It's technically Communications Coordinator, but it's best understood as "Social Media Manager." This is why I try to drive home that I'm the person that posts things. Tweets, Instagram stories/posts, FB posts, blogs, site updates, and more. I post those things. (This is why you see me often engage in highlight or art threads. I try to amplify cool things for our team.) I also try to jump in when I can help with reproducible bugs and directing things to various teams. I also moonlight as TreyarchPC, but haven't fully stepped into the role. - I'm part of a communications team, but I'm not the whole team. I hope that helps.
For all of you that do take the time to be courteous or understand that there's a human behind the keyboard, thank you. For others who let their passion get the best of them, I understand you.
How about you talk or at least notice us, when something goes down or shit hits the fan for you guys. We will be ok as long as you just say there is a problem. If there are problems that the whole community screams at then deal with it and talk with us. We don’t need daily talks, or monthly checkups we need you to be responsive when we need you
Just so we're clear: That is currently not my primary focus. I don't have the authority or agency to do that often and about some of the topics players are concerned about. I do however share them with various members of the team. - If you have a reproducible bug or someone that needs the ban hammer pointed in their direction, then that I can easily engage on.
What Reddit updates?
I was asking Dustyroflman about these in contrast to his other points.
I sent a chat figured that’d be easier
I have chats disabled due to platform spam. My DMs however are open. Send it there.
How about you start your communication by being honest with your intentions with the new weapons obtainable through reserves? You made them overpowered on purpose to make people gamble for those things with their hard earned money. You are a professional developer for COD and things like that do not happen by accident. Just for your information: No one cares about HOW you communicate (reddit comments, videos, ...), it is about WHAT you communicate. ignoring the concerns of thousand other people at least on this sub while answering requests like the one above (dev blogs that literally no one is interested in) is not a good way to connect to the base. It feels like teaching „Fan communication 101“ to people who should be professionals for that since a satisfied fanbase is the key for running a successful business.
Please check my bio. I don't make any decisions.
Edit: Quick note that we made tuning adjustments to various weapons today. Check them out here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Blackops4/comments/bzg7kz/june_11th_update_a_note_on_new_weapons_days_of/
Well I did and got no response.
I don't see anything here.
Any plans to do dev blogs or something? Not trying to put you on blast but I figured I’d drop this here anyways.
Dev blogs would be really cool to see and while I know Vonderhaar does (kinda) do them they come out soooo scarcely it’s like we never know what’s going on.
Edit: To clarify Vonderhaar does these developer update videos. Not blog posts
Just to be clear. Questions like yours aren't blast material. I appreciate you reaching that middle ground with me though.
We've found video to perform well, but I understand the request for words. Are you looking for written commentary or white paper blogs? How do you feel about our Reddit updates?
Again do you want me to DM you the video of people glitching in MP from yesterday or not?
Yes. Why though are you asking for permission to DM me? My DMs are open .
