That is not what I am saying at all. The real world doesn't involve being toxic to others in public. This isn't a socially or culturally acceptable thing on NA in general or the game.

Cultural differences lend to more blunt, straight forward and quite frankly IMO not appropriate engagements for gaming at times. The EU community tends to be far more competitive than we are as well, which also lends to toxic chat.

We on the NA side of the house like to focus the game on playing the GAME, not screaming, yelling, personal attacking other players because we can all be passionate about a game, but it doesn't mean we can't have fun playing the game.

I get your frustration, just my 2 doubloons, World of Warships should NEVER be work. I have never really been the type to NEED the new shiny the moment it comes out. I try to play and have fun, I mean, it's a game.

So if you are not enjoying an event, then that is perfectly fine, just play the game to play the GAME. The moment you're angry or annoyed at a game, is the moment to take a step back and or maybe a break.

The EA events to me are meh, because I know I will play the ships eventually for free. It all boils down to us giving choices to people, if you WANT something you can get it, if not, you will be able to get it eventually.

I have been berated by some because I suggest people take breaks, to think there are other games out there,

I have taken breaks in the past and when I come back to Warships, I am reminded how much I enjoy the GAME.

So um, both servers are free... not sure why you think you have to pay.

We have the servers separated because you have a big pool of H2O between us and the EU folks, which lends to connectivity issues sometimes. That and we have separate teams to better support those players (languages and culture etc). You can create an account on both servers with the same credentials.

There is a big difference from EU to NA in terms of interaction though... The EU server tends to be a bit more, um, not-friendly, in terms of their interactions with each other.

As stated above, @LittleWhiteMouse is the only CC who's content is on the forums exclusively.

For the most part, we have quite a few CCs that advertise their Twitch/YouTube content on here, but it is not a requirement. Remember that the percentage of players that use our forums is no higher then about 5% of the total player base in NA.

This is not true.

So this was not as intended.

If you wish to purchase the Soviet Squadron Bundle but have the Mikoyan from tokens, please put a support ticket in, and they will help you get that squared away.

We are working on fixing this in the in game Armory or you can still purchase it in the Premium shop and you'll receive doubloons back as a compensation for Mikoyan.

Some of you may have encountered a problem when trying to enter the Armory. We have prepared a fix to resolve this issue.

If you don’t experience the described problems, you do not need to install this correction.

If you want to apply this fix now, you should follow this step-by-step guide:

Close the game.


Download the archive Install_patсh_fix_for_0.9.4.zip


Unzip the archive (the «Install_patсh_fix_for_0.9.4» folder) to your WoWs game root folder (the one containing /bin32 /bin64 /screenshot and other subfolders).


Go to the unzipped «Install_patсh_fix_for_0.9.4» folder.


Launch the file «apply-patch.bat»


Apply changes by typing the number «1» to the window that appears, and press «Enter».


Launch the game as usual.

If this fix doesn't help, please, post to the forum ...

Sorry we could not chat with Capt Batterson longer, we originally intended to only have him on for about 30 mins, but as you can tell he was more than willing to chat with us for longer! It does if it helps get the W.

This is the thing, if people focus more on winning and less on their personal gains, overall those gains will increase.

Sitting in the back and farming damage and letting your cruisers and DDs tank for the BBs doesn't help get that W.

This has to be a holistic view though, in other words more than just the BB have to be focused on getting the W.

Someone recently pointed out that looking at my stats they thought I am a "passive" player, and sometimes I am. Because as a DD main, there is more to life than torping everything and capping, often throwing torps to turn ships, staying between the enemy and my BBs to screen, moving into positions to keep those ships spotted for my team, don't lend to much personal gain, but it helps get the W.

This is what I was talking about.
