Hey @MilkTheCow
This looks very much like a recent issue caused by a mod that’s been reported multiple times (looting with F). Could you make sure to disable all mods, and remove the workshop folder just to confirm this issue is happening to you with no mods interfering?
Thanks in advance.
Hey there,
Thanks for the report, we’ve sent it to the team so they can look into it.
I have also edited out the less constructive parts of your report. Thank you for your understanding and for your constructive feedback in the future.
Hey @DarthWolf
Thanks for reporting this issue. We’re aware of it as it has been reported in the past, however our team has not been able to find a reliable way to reproduce it. We’ve sent your message so we can try reproducing it again.
Hey @micka9fr
Could you try adding
[/Script/ConanSandbox.SystemSettings]
dw.UseModControllerCache=0
To ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\Windows\Engine.ini ?
This would disable a recent mod optimization released with 2.6 that is interfering with some mods. We’re working to get it fixed from our side but for the time being, disabling it with the workaround above could help you in your particular situation.
Thank you for willing to improve the live environment of Conan Exiles. As a player of our game, we recommend reporting bugs in the appropriate sections by following this template.
You can also help us improve the forums by not submitting the same threads repeatedly with slight vari...
A little bit out of character. He should be storming in instead eh?
Alright I know where the exit is.
That is a separate and known issue. Our team is looking into that one, but the fix for it is complex and risky.
Thankfully, it is non related to the problem discussed in the thread
Thank you for the concise report @tobbiusness
We’ve sent it to the team so we can look into it, as we’re cracking down on cases of thralls and NPCs falling through the terrain.
Hey @NeroMcKnight
We’re aware of this issue as it was reported on the Playstation forums as well. Our team is working on a fix as we speak.
Thanks for the feedback (and welcome to the forums!)
One last quick update (hopefully!):
Decay timers should now be enabled in PvE-C PS4 servers. A new MOTD should confirm if your server has them enabled when logging in (or also by checking structures around the map). It sometimes can take up to 2 server restarts for each server to fetch all settings correctly.
Let us know if it’s enabled as intended!
Another question, just in case: does the game freeze when trying to play on a dedicated server?
Hey there,
A change of name is highly unlikely. However, regarding the texture issues in the chest area, that is currently being looked into. It seems to affect only characters with low values in the chest so we’re looking to see if there’s a way to make the chestpiece look better under those circumstances.
Hey @lucressiia
Reading through the possible causes and workarounds given in the past, could you try one last thing (sorry if it has been suggested too or tested already).
Could you disable all mods, remove the workshop folder (just to make sure mods aren’t interfering in any way), then create a game in vanilla and then try to load back into the game to see if the issue happens again?
I may be misreading the info, but it seems all games were created with mods enabled, and then tried to continue them with and without mods. Creating the game without mods and continuing it without mods may be the missing link.
If that has also been tested, could you as a last resort check if the folder where the game is stored has the correct permissions on Windows? (write/read etc)
Thanks for the lead @LordKAA. We’ll send that to our team to see if we can replicate this on our end.
Hey there,
Just to confirm, server transfers on consoles are still being worked on and will come as a part of a future update. We still don’t have an approximate ETA, but roughly speaking it should come with the next update or two depending on the progress we make and/or other factors that may arise.
Hey @tobbiusness
Thank you for the detailed report. We’ve sent it to our team so we can continue cracking down on thrall’s general lack of environmental awareness.
Hey @Mbeat
Thank you for submitting the crash report via the dashboard. This way our team can check the logs and specific reasons of the crashes and use them for a fix in a future update.
Just in case, could you let us know the name of the server and approximate area where you encountered the crash?
