Oh no, these archers again.
Thanks for the heads-up, we’ll send a note to our team again about eloping archers so we can put them in place.

Greetings Exiles!
Today’s an exciting day, as meat’s back on the menu we have a new colleague among our ranks!
Meet @Pliskin, our new Community Support! He’s going to be joining us in the day to day on the forums and other channels of communication, so expect to see him around from now on!
I could go on and on about his experience in the gaming industry, his absolute love for videogames, and his absolute lack of chances in winning at the office coffee PvP deadly battles (though he will be joining the Lisbon offices where I heard there’s less barbaric rules than in Oslo). But I’d leave that part up to him as these introductions are more embarrassing the best when it’s the new person doing the talk ...

Thanks for the additional information. We’ve sent it to the team
Alright, thanks for the additional information. We’re now working on this issue and we’re aiming to fix it completely with 2.7.
Alright. Since you mention this is happening recently, could you try adding the following line to ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\Windows\Engine.ini
[/Script/ConanSandbox.SystemSettings]
dw.UseModControllerCache=0
Please let us know if that helped you.
Hey @parvo
We’ve been trying to replicate this issue reliably but have not had success so far. Since you mention this is happening to you in an official server, could you let us know which and your general coordinates?
Thanks in advance.
Hey @elendil093
Thanks for the observation. We’ve informed our team and they will look into it.
Et tu, brute?
Read moreHey there,
Not sure if the issue here reported has been reported previously or not, since there’s not much specific information about it. However, it could perhaps be related to a similar issue reported recently, where pieces that have been repaired (even if at 100%) cannot be picked up. That one has been relayed to the team and it’s being looked into.
Hey @Nedfall
Thank you for the observation, our team is now aware and will look into possible issues with the placement of this building piece.
Hey @UmbralTwilight
Our team is aware of this issue and a fix for it will be released for a future patch or update, though we still don’t have an estimated time for it.
Thanks for the feedback.
Hey @Tephra
Thank you for the report. We’ve notified our team about this and other recently reported issues with the new pickup system.
Hey @Lahaina
Could you try a possible workaround?
It would be adding
[/Script/ConanSandbox.SystemSettings]
dw.UseModControllerCache=0
To ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\Windows\Engine.ini.
This would disable the new mod loading optimizations. It seems to have been causing some stability issues for some players, so just to rule that possibility out.
Hey all,
We’ve reported this to our team so we can give it a look. However, I have a feeling this will no longer be an issue once we release the upgraded pick-up functionality (ETA in 2.7) as it will also send to inventory any pieces on top of the one picked up. Just in case though, our team is now aware of this problem.
Hey @Lahaina
Thank you for the report. We’ve notified our team and added the extra info provided by @sestus2009 since it also seems to be happening on consoles.
Hey @oriondean
Thanks for the observation, we’ve notified our team about this visual issue. Could you also let us know your graphical settings in game in case it is helpful for us when trying to replicate the problem?
