Please make sure that the mods are up to date, and that your friend has installed them correctly and has them loaded in the same order as your server in their modlist.txt file.

We’ve edited your post to be less confrontational, more constructive. We’re sorry for the frustration some issues may cause but do please remain respectful when reporting an issue.
Regarding your problem, this seems to be an isolated problem maybe caused by some hardware combinations. Could you please let us know your system specs, as well as your modem/router model and service provider/region? Since you’re playing with mods, please do let us know your mod list?

Additionally, we added not so recently a new server setting that allows you to customize the amount of damage thralls can output. So you can tailor your experience from a Pokemon Simulator to a Survival Horror with a couple of clicks!

There’s a known issue, reported in the bug reports section, that’s causing the game to start in a temporary black screen when clicking continue from the launcher. This is being fixed for 2.6.1.
Closing the thread as it seems that as of lately, there’s this constant need to argue and insult each other at every single opportunity.
Here we go again.
Please. Keep it civil. Keep the PvP ingame, and the ban appeals on Zendesk.
The hotfix is completed and in certification. It will depend on how long it takes for it to go through this process on all platforms involved.
