New hotfix is out!
New hotfix is out!
Hey everybody,
We’re continuing to work on the crashing issues that were introduced with Update 37 as our highest priority. We are launching a new hotfix with an additional fix for a widely reported crash and a few extra fixes we wanted to bundle in as well. We’re still actively collecting feedback about the Fatal Error crashes and will continue to work on additional fixes in the upcoming days.
Thank you community for your continued feedback and support.
Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.

Read moreHey everybody,
We’re actively monitoring the issue with Fatal Error crashes introduced after Update 37. For that reason we’ll start to collect any feedback you might have regarding these crashes after our latest hotfix (patchnotes here) in this thread.
If you are using mods, please do keep in mind your crashing might most likely be related to a mod being outdated or incompatible with the latest game version.
Please allow the mod authors...
We’re in talks with G-Portal to deploy some server-side modifications that would help with this problem. It might take a few extra days until it becomes functional.
Hey @Bone
The change has been committed today, so it won’t take effect in a server until it restarts.
An updated devkit has been released today so mod authors can start bringing their creations up to date with the current version of the game. That should iron out most crashes caused by mods.
As per other crashes reported in this thread, we managed to reproduce consistently what we think at the moment is the main reason the game is experiencing these fatal errors.
If you still have any additional information you could provide about your particular situation please don’t hesitate to send it our way in a constructive and civil manner.
Thanks again for your collaboration and patience while we work through this issue.
Hey @DerWeisseTeufel
Welcome to our community.
As @WhatMightHaveBeen pointed out, we’re aware of this issue and hotfixed it already on PC. Consoles will receive this hotfix next Friday, along with any other fixes released until then.
Thanks for the feedback and apologies for the frustration.
Hey @Bruntzilla
This is intended, to learn that feat you’ll need to find and interact with the right scroll.
Thanks for your feedback.
Hey @Zeb
Welcome to our community and thanks for the heads-up.
We’ll send a note to the Lemurian community to not slack their obligations when duty calls.
Hey @Bruntzilla
Welcome to our community.
We’re aware of this issue and our team is looking into it.
Thanks for the feedback.
Hey @Animeemo3
That information is unfortunately incorrect as a result of pulling the information over from the design documents. The oil of agony increases damage by a flat amount of 15.
Apologies for the confusion.
Hey everybody,
Again please take into consideration that any mods will cause issues after a patch or hotfix. In particular, mods that alter buildings in any way, shape or form will cause crashing issues when building or interacting with any building piece. Please let the mod authors a few days to update their mods. There’s also an issue in the devkit affecting building blueprints and our team is trying to deliver an updated version of the devkit which irons that out.
For those of you who are not using any mods (again, let us reiterate that point: NO mods whatsoever), please keep sending us any details you might have. We’re interested in what actions you took before the crash, which items you were using or interacting with, and how many players were involved. In case you’re crashing around big buildings, we’d also be interested if you could share your database (savegame) with us if possible. Finally, if you could give us a little insight on your system specs it would al...

Could you list the mods you had enabled before you encountered this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Hey @Huntsmanlance
Thanks for the heads-up, we’ll poke our team to see if this is intentional or not.
Hey @mrfatbard
We’re moving this thread to suggestions and relaying it to our team.
Thanks for the feedback.
Hey @Sting01
@ocman6220 is correct, this seems to be a similar issue to the one linked above. We’ve sent it to our team so they can look into it.
Thanks for the feedback.
We’ve fixed this issue internally and should come out soon.
Thanks for the feedback.
