This is intended behavior, introduced recently in the Warmaker patch which altered building placement rules for fence foundations to stop a widespread exploit. There’s no plans to revise this restriction for the time being.

Just in case, as a general troubleshoot with mods: is your mod list arranged correctly? Some mods need to be loaded before others to function correctly. We imagine your server must have a load order list to help players set up their version correctly.

Could you try a couple of things to see if this issue gets resolved?
First, could you try to see if there’s any conflicts in your registry by running a program such as CCleaner? (this is a general troubleshooting tip, but might be handy nonetheless)
Additionally, and even though you mentioned you already messed with your AV previously, could you try to reinstall the game, perhaps in a different folder, with your AV disabled and then try to run the game before enabling ESET just to confirm it’s not a problem with your AV? (remember to disable any real time tools it might be running just in case).
Reason why we mention this is that the error you get when trying to run the game resembles a problem sometimes antivirus software gives.

Thralls are affected by the decay system now. If you haven’t logged for months, it’s quite possible they decayed.

New patch is out!

Hey everybody,

We’re releasing this new patch mainly aimed to address most of the issues introduced by the latest update. We’ve identified and addressed the main causes for crashing. We’ve also ironed out some problems with oils and fittings and also added a few balancing changes for hardened steel bars and the Annihilator. We’ll still be monitoring stability after this patch, so please let us know below if you experience any problems.

Apologies for the frustration. When logging out please try to deposit your valuables in a nearby chest before you exit the game to avoid issues like this one. Our team is looking into ways to at least telegraph offline deaths better.

The issue happening in 1345 is the same happening in other threads reporting different servers. The status regarding that issue is similar to other servers. We’re starting to deploy back-end changes to some servers and tweaking them to adapt to those attacks. Once they are stable and working, they’ll be deployed on all servers, at least those constantly attacked.

Welcome to our community.
Does this issue still persist after reloading the game? Just in case, could you try to deposit all your valuables in a nearby stash and remove your bracelet? This will kill your character, but if there is any weird status effects stuck in your game this will most likely fix it. Otherwise please let us know.
