We didn’t fully understand your report. What you mean is that your friend’s character was “deleted” from the server so he had to re-create it?

We’re monitoring the situation in that server cluster as it appears it is an intentional attack against those servers. We disabled decay on them for the time being and our team is keeping an eye to any movements happening in those servers.

Just to rule out possibilities, have you tried flushing the DNS, as we explained in our common technical issues thread?
1-) Run command prompt as administrator
2-) Run command “ipconfig /flushdns” (without quotes)
3-) Run command “netsh int ip reset” (without quotes)
4-) Restart your PC
That would be the ideal situation. Our team is looking into it, although for the moment they’re focusing on some other higher priority issues.
We’re currently implementing some changes to avoid this and other similar exploits in the future. No ETA yet, but should come in the next patch or two.
