Hey @genna5490
Welcome to our community and sorry to hear about your online experience.
Since the messages happened through PSN we would recommend reporting this directly to Sony, as they’re the ones that can check on this directly and issue any profile bans they deem necessary. @Mikey’s advice would also be good to follow depending on the severity of those threats. Also, @Kwalya suggests an easy way to guarantee...
Hey there @OddityLive
Although we would have preferred getting in touch privately, we can just use this message to provide you with an answer to your plea.
We do rarely issue bans and they’re usually for very grave offenses. One of them is walling off the desert area preventing total gameplay to other players in that server. For that reason, the ban is permanent and not to be lifted.
Access to single player, cooperative and private servers is still allowed after a ban.
God bubbles should be 36 hours. On that note, we’re reenabling gods tomorrow.
Hey there,
There seems to be a common misconception about this. We’re not wiping any official servers. The only change coming to the game remotely similar to it is what we covered in this announcement:
Hey @Aegea
Server 1200 is up and running correctly (20 players at the moment of this writing) and not crashing anymore. If there is still an issue with it not showing in your server list, please try to flush your router’s DNS.
Yes, whatever is standing now is mostly fine. There are still some fence foundations in a T formation what would not be allowed by the new placement rules, but they will not be nuked.
Hey there,
The wipe is doing what it is supposed to be doing. Multiple instances of the same piece overlapping in the same place are merged into one, while cross formations with fence foundations will get one of the pieces in that formation nuked at random, which could cause problems down the line considering some people relied heavily on this structure. Also, new rules for building pieces have been put in place to avoid using the middle socket in fence foundations.
Our first announcement was initially vague as it wouldn’t affect legit constructions too much, but it caused some panic so we tried to explain it even further. Additionally, we’ve been refining the script that ran this “wipe” for a week, so it is even less destructive now than what it was initially.
Holy guacamole @Wonka
That’s quite a weird one. Forwarding it to our team so they can check the mind-expanding possibilities of that headdress.
Thanks for your feedback.
Hey @ieorlich
We’ve send your heads-up to our team for consideration, although we have a hunch this is done to optimize memory.
Thanks for your feedback.
Hey @Tytan
We’ve sent note to our team and they’ll look into it.
Thanks for your feedback.
Hey @Aria_of_Sorrow
Thanks for the heads-up. We’ll poke our team to see if this is intended or not.
Hey @DarthChimay
Welcome to our community and apologies for the frustration. Our team is looking into this issue and it’s one of our priorities now. We still have no ETA for when we’ll release a fix, unfortunately.
Thanks for your feedback.
Hey there,
It’s possible that server is over populated and has a lot of building pieces, thralls and placeables, which could explain the huge difference in performance vs other servers.
Patch is now out on the live branch of the game.
Testlive will be updated to bring the version up to par.
Patch is out on PC.
New patch is out!
Hey @Oktavia65
If you’re playing on official server only we’d recommend uninstalling all mods since they’re not allowed on official servers. Maybe one of them is messing with your serverlist somehow?
Also, this workaround we listed in the Technical problems thread seemed to help other players in a similar situation in the past:
1-) Run command prompt as administrator
2-) Run command “ipconfig /flushdns” (without quotes)
3-) Run command “netsh int ip reset” (without quotes)
4-) Restart your PC
What tweet?
The patch is coming out today.
