Moving this to suggestions as it is not a bug report.

Hey @Rannk

We’re aware of this issue. Physics for soft objects stop updating after they’re at a certain range from the camera. This is for performance reasons.

Thanks for your feedback.

Hey @Mystara

Before we relay this information to our team, does your server have any mods installed?

Hey there,

This issue has been fixed internally, however it still requires testing and is not currently scheduled to be included in any patch until it passes that process.

Hey there,

Both patches were emergency hotfixes with a single line in the changelog. They were added to the patch thread of update 2.1 since there was no version change. Once we release 2.1.1 there will be a new patch note thread.

Our Project Director, Scott Junior, would like to address the Xbox community with an update regarding the current situation with stability issues:

Hey everyone,

I wanted to give a quick update on the XB1 OOM/Data corruption issue. We were able to reproduce the issue on a devkit in a development environment this week which is very promising. We have some ideas on what might be causing it and are making builds this weekend to test internally which should give us some more information. Unfortunately the Oslo office at Funcom has returned to working from home due to the Covid 19 situation so that makes testing a bit harder.

With the results from this week we should be able to make good progress early this week. Apologies that we don’t have anything concrete yet, but I’ll update again next week when we have more info.

Hey there,

The previous perk was changed because, in fact, it was too good especially considering the amount of points it required. It also generally threw balancing off the table when trying to balance other aspects of the game.

While the new perk might require some tweaks, and we’re open to feedback and listening to it, we often don’t consider “The changes are bad and you should feel bad”, “Wow, dev team, just, mmmuah, perfect job there” and other such lines as feedback to act upon.

Please do give the new patch and all the myriad of new balancing fixes and additions of 2.1 a good try (that is, more than a couple days) and then try to share your feedback and suggestions in a more organized and constructive manner.
