tysm!!!!
Hi hi, not in the patch notes (will be next week), but this was hotfixed a few hours ago, so should work as expected now. Any further issues just lmk.
Have fun!
Also tagging u/UI_Tyler, u/Substantial_Brain_54, & u/Duredel so you see this comment.
Hey, this is a known issue, which is yet to be fixed (slightly differs from the other issue I saw you cross-post to https://reddit.com/r/runescape/comments/u1nbw7/extinction_death_bug/), but a developer/programmer has just been assigned to fix it - so we're on it!
Sorry for the inconvenience, and should hopefully see a fix in the patch notes in the very near future.
Sure, looking in system info I am running Android Version 10. The tablet I own (Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Inch) comes with 2gb of RAM. Let me know if I can supply any more info.
EDIT: Looking at system requirements on the RS Website, it says you support any device running android 8 and at least 2gb of RAM. So I am a bit confused, do I need more than 2gb or is that enough?
There's quite a lot of Samsung Galaxy Tab A's (like 40 different devices) so it's been a little difficult to pinpoint the exact one, but it ends up down to the chipset. Exynos chipsets are supported at the moment but the Qualcomm ones are the blacklisted ones. If you have an Exynos chipset then you should be able to play on that device.
Hey u/chargedpking, could you confirm what Android version you are on, please? We currently only support devices over 2GB ram & that are on Android 8.0 or above.
Helloooo, just to let ya know we are aware of this issue and working on a fix, no ETA.
Thanks for your patience!
Hey, apologies for the inconvenience caused to you all!
We are actively investigating and we will communicate as soon as we know more.
I was hoping that it was a bug, we never know with Jagex though. I just had a look through the patch notes and I didn't see where they had updated the chat. I literally just logged in and seen the chat and was very annoyed by it. I can see that it wasn't intentional, but needs to be fixed lol.
There was an engine update (hence why it was not in patch notes) to fix a bug with text colouring in certain use cases. This is a side effect of that change and something we're investigating, do not fear, the bug will disappear! No ETA.
Hey, feel free to DM me or reply here, but could you provide some more information please?
Thanks
done!
Thank you!
Hey, thanks for flagging. We're just starting to investigate. Would greatly appreciate if you could edit/remove details from your message - we have them now.
Thanks!
This has now been hotfixed. That's about as much as I can share right now and we'll investigate further tomorrow.
Thanks for raising.

I already finished this task doing the arch req, but my IGN is Eternis.
It will still help, thank you. :)
Hallo!
This is a known issue and will be addressed at some point in the future. Unfortunately can't give any ETA - unlikely to be fixed in the very near future.
I've also seen comments about it happening against other NPC's (not just Araxxor) and that's noted on the ticket already, so we'll do what we can to fix it across the board.
Thanks
Hey, thanks for the post. I'm not entirely sure why this is happening at the moment but I'm starting to investigate. If you could help by sending me a message with your display name then that'd be much appreciated!
Hey, thanks for letting us know about this. We'll aim to have this fixed before the end of the day.
Hallo, thanks for raising this issue. I'll make sure this gets investigated!
Hey, this is being investigated, thanks for raising it. We'll aim to have this fixed for Monday's update.
This has been hotfixed, so the issue should now be resolved.
Very interesting! Thanks for the link.
Both of these should be looked at for sure. I could never put it in words but now you have for me :)
Thanks for the info u/DatShokotan. I'm not entirely sure what can be done but definitely something I'll take to the team to discuss.
