Wasn't the Amulet of Avaraice supposed to get a 20% accuracy and damage bonus against revenants?
No-one is going to want to use an Avarace against revenants when they lose to much dps from not equipping a salve.

Hey there, this was something that appears to have been overlooked, but we're looking to resolve this by next week. Thank you for raising it to us.
It’s regrettable that we haven’t been able to bring you these tweaks sooner, as features like Loot Keys and Wilderness Bosses are going to be very exciting for the Wilderness. Unfortunately, these features will now not appear in-game until 2022, for which we apologise.
So basically GIM fixes/changes for the rest of the year? Got it!
Edit: What happened to the Amulet of avarice working like a salve amulet against revenants? This was also part of the rev cave changes outlined in the blog along with the revenant boss. The latter I can understand being delayed as it takes graphic work etc, but the averice change should not take very long comparatively.

- We're still looking over your feedback and we're going to be having a meeting this week to discuss some wider feedback we're seeing across both Raids 3/Nex Rewards ahead of the rewards beta on Wednesday 20th.
- The next update will likely be post-rewards beta, meaning its unlikely there will be any updated blog posts before then. Please don't worry, we aren't ignoring your feedback!
Hi! I can confirm that the issue mentioned in this thread was flagged to the devs on Sunday by myself, however I didn't personally feel that we needed to do a callout situation at that time. However it is something we're looking at fixing as soon as possible. :)

So is this right:
While crafting blood runes, you'd keep a stack of activated essence in your inventory. For every rune you craft, there's a 50% chance of an extra, so say a run gives you 100 runes, on average you'd get 150 back.
After 1000 extra runes are created, one activated essence disappears?
Sorry to go through that so painfully, I imagine it is a lot simpler when seen in action rather than in text format. I think my description is correct (maybe) and seems simple enough.
I think my initial confusion came from the fact you also craft blood runes from dense essence/dark essence/essence fragments... and now blood essence. That's a lot of essences. hahaha
I'm going to seek some more information and possibly update/amend the blog to ensure I get it right! Will let you know when I discuss with the team :D

Blood Essence can be dropped from Nex or from some places around the Prison. It is:
- Stackable
- Tradeable
- Can activate a blood essence, turning it untradeable.
- Can only have one active blood essence at a time
- If a player creates a blood rune with an activated blood essence in their inventory, they have a chance to create additional blood runes.
- 1 essence = 1000 additional blood runes/charges
- Chance to create an additional blood rune/trigger a charge = 50% chance per rune.
I hope this helps, I understand you have more questions about how it works and how it is charged. I'll make sure that your feedback is passed on to the team and if needed we can amend the blog to include some more information on this topic.

Are there still plans for the RC minigame that was mentioned in last December's Gazette?
That seemed to be aimed toward increasing RC output with a new robe set and blood talisman for the true Meiyerditch blood altar. Curious if that's still a thing, and if this essence is planned to stack with it.
That was an ideation pitch so nothing was totally confirmed, but it is still in our backlog of ideas and I hope we'll have more to share with you on that soon! I will try and seek more clarity on the Blood Essence because it looks like players want us to flesh this out a bit more, give some more context and information on it, and explain where it drops from. So I'm gonna make sure this feedback is passed to the right people. I hope that's OK
Ironmen have been expecting a better blood rune source since the december 2020 gazette where the guardians of gielnor rc minigame was teased. The blood essence being mentioned in this blog feels very odd and unrelated. There's also no information about why it's there. Is it a drop from nex? From the minions? Is it tradeable?

And just to confirm, we are still looking to address the blood rune source with a piece of content rather than any short term issues, as far as I'm aware.
I'm convinced you guys just don't know how to make good rewards that fit the content anymore. majority of this is dead on arrival.
Love nex, but these reward just aren't it.

Is there any reason you guys insist on calling it cycles? The community uses ticks, I assume the jmods use ticks colloquially, is it cycle in the docs or something? I remember this came up with the arceuus spellbook blog where they were used interchangeably. Not using ticks is more confusing for newer players
It's just our editorial standard/style. Everything that gets published on our website officially needs to be checked with our editorial team and that's the term which is correct to use and should be used for any formal pieces of work. Hope that helps!

Read moreoh wow. didn't expect this. okay. first of all, the ancient godsword. isn't it basically just a weaker ags? and its' healing is worse than what an sgs can do. extremely lackluster and weak and will probably not see any use in neither pvp nor pvm.
zaryte bow has a nice special effect that could see niche use, but that's all. the stats are so weak that it'll either get beat by acb, bowfa or tbow. or all 3. i don't even know why it's among nex drops.
zaryte vambraces are perfectly fine. we've needed best in slot range gloves for a long time.
virtus. oh virtus. i assume it's directed at pvp? pkers don't really use much magic if their opponent is frozen when on ancients, do they? the extra 3% damage is fine, but the only realistic use i see for it is in slayer. it'll be a) too expensive to use in pvp or b) too niche in its' use.
and give ancient ceremonial their set effect. just make it so only nex's minions and only the minions drop them. if it works li...

Really underwhelming rewards from Nex. This was once again the opportunity to widen the tier to level 80s. At least give magic armour magic % dmg. It's okay to have powercreep. Regular GWD drops such as armadyl/bandos are more usefull than these rewards and that's a bummer to me.
The godsword is meh.
The vambraces are the only good reward.
The Zaryte bow is outclassed by a lot as seen in the graph.
The virtus armour doesn't even have magic dmg %. I would have thought Nex would drop a tier melee armour, the torva equivalent. It's time for a bandos upgrade.
Once again a bunch of niche rewards, similar to TOA. Endgame bosses justify powercreep and once again these rewards are far from that. It's hard get excited as an end game player these days when rewards are so lack-luster.
