@PootyMcPootster Would recommend rolling it back to prior to the event start, that file being corrupted would have definitely had ramifications such as missing dinos and more. Make sure that you're on the latest server too though, otherwise it'll happen again.
@PIayerI23 @maddog691232 @survivetheark They'll be enabled once this deployment is complete.
@LeeBowden1995 I hope so but it's not something I can be 100% on, more so that it's being pushed through to be released as soon as possible.
@abjork46 It wouldn't have affected all abb creatures but some variants, I'd recommend keeping them in pods until the client patch is available, as there's a chance if you throw them out you may not be able to see them.
@Madam_Mousey It requires the patch to fix it completely (which is currently in cert).
So this and more (missing anims, incorrect poses, some crashes), are all related to the issue we identified which caused some dinos to vanish. They'll be resolved with the upcoming client patch which we're hoping to get out to ya guys as soon as possible.
@Jatheish What about all the characters now being default? I have been using the same model for years, will there be a solution?
@tutuappvisitor Correct, the upcoming patch will sort that out. A core aspect of it was busted which could cause all sorts of different issues (missing creatures, items, bone scaling modifiers, anims, etc).
@DamienHawes1 It'll improve the situation, and more so when the client gets pushed out too. Will need to see where we're at when things settle to determine whether new ones have appeared w/ this patch or if all related to the identified issue.
@legtz @survivetheark The fix has already been submitted for release (and is technically live on the servers, just the clients need it).
@AcedCookie It'll be resolved when the client patch goes out, it was related to the same dino issue. Thankfully it should just be a visual difference, once that client is available you should regain your previous appearance.
@Guilher32213226 @survivetheark We'll be extending the event (it says in that image that I've quoted).
EGS/Steam Server Hosts:
We've added a new command line arg for servers in v312.13 due to incompatibility with -Multihome servers on EGS clients. This should help w/ recent unable to connect errors since the v312 went live.
Details:
@maddog691232 @survivetheark We've also got another client patch in the pipeline for Windows 10 with the hotfix to the patch, so hopefully that rolls out at the same time as this upcoming Xbox patch.
@maddog691232 @survivetheark Unfortunately something is holding it up but we're not sure, it's passed cert and officially been published as the DLCs received patches, but not the base game. We've poked Microsoft to see if they can take a look and maybe give it a nudge. Hope to have it out asap.
@Pocolate2 @survivetheark and sadly we aren't able to rollback single player savefiles, so couldn't restore any creatures that were lost due to this issue, however you would be able to spawn similar ones back in
@Pocolate2 @survivetheark If you haven't loaded SP then yes, I would avoid doing so until the client patch is available. If you have loaded SP, then the change has already happened so you may as well play if you'd want to; just note that certain things would be invisible
@SteveGJ90 @survivetheark Correct
@SergachevTB That'll be fixed with this deployment (might take a bit longer than the other servers).
@Madam_Mousey When the event started
@survivetheark: Survivors,
We'll be redeploying our Official Xbox and PS4 Networks in approximately 5 minutes. This will rollback the s…
