And do you play in high detailed mode, are you able to turn that off if so and let me know if it's still super crashy?

Question, for those of you crashing, do you have the game installed on an external HD?

PC, a ton of lag and disconnects. I put in server tickets all the time, but I know resources are strained.

Thanks, will check out the server.

Yep, please let us know if this resolves the issue OP. /u/Bibikii

Hey Jat, like I said great people at Wildcard, I’m just worn out and I wish you guys the best.

My Ex server (459)has been a complete mess for months and I was getting game ptsd from it.

I have had a lot of fun with the game and I ain’t mad. Thanks for taking the time to post!

Which platform were you playing on? Disconnects every 5 minutes isn't intended of course and I would like to take a look at that server to see if there's anything funky happening that we should be investigating. I appreciate the support regardless and hope to see you back in the future :)

Just a heads up that a lot of our technical improvements for next-gen have not yet made it to the PS5 and we're targeting getting them live on that platform in December.

These are the improvements that were made for the nextgen Xbox and PS5 can expect the same, minus a few differences due to hardware/tech pipeline differences between the two consoles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_n7Ep7cjJA

I understand how frustrating these bugs can be at times and make no excuse for their existence. The team has been putting in a lot of work to reduce and eliminate as many causes for character loss as possible and as of the last week we're the safest it's ever been. That doesn't mean much for the people who have lost characters in the weeks prior, but going forward there's a lot more protection in place to prevent it from occurring.

In our Crunch posted on Friday (a little bit after you made this thread), we shared info regarding an auto-restoration system we've got running on our Officials:

Preventing character loss remains of utmost importance to us. We've recently implemented the technology (and have had it running live on our Official Network) to auto-restore characters in the event that a server has experienced a rollback. Specifically, if a player has recently transferred to a server and for some reason, that server has gone down without saving the...

They'll be resolved on the 24th with our Turkey Trials update, the fix was submitted to certification. It should also resolve the disconnect issues for Player Dedicated servers too.

Aye, TPs will work otherwise on Official PvP and these changes aren't present on Official PVE.

We've identified an issue with the current implementation (they're not meant to have the slow) that'll be tweaked up in the upcoming patch. The team is evaluating additional changes too, but at the very least that slow will be removed.

Console will get the fix too, it gets them all, but some fixes require client updates, which means a patch needs to go through Microsoft & Sony's certification.

When this initial fix was done, we had already submitted our TLC update to cert, and therefore this wasn't able to make it in; however, it should make it into the next.

This delay doesn't exist on PC because we can freely release client updates whenever we have them ready on Steam and EGS without needing to go through a cert process, which allows us to be more rapid with our fixes.

We'll have an update in December for PS5 which will essentially bring over the same upgrades we did for the Xbox Series X. Here's what to expect:

Client patch should have gone out on PC to resolve the issue (shouldn't have been present on console).
